Chapter 41
Along with this figure, there was also a long voice.
"Alig, you don't have to go!"
"When you betrayed, there was no place for you anymore!"
As soon as the words fell, the dust suddenly dispersed, revealing the true face of the person who came.
His skin was golden in color, looking bright and noble; he was not wearing any clothes, but strangely, the impression that appeared in your mind was that of a person dressed in luxurious clothes.
Seeing the person coming, everyone in the audience fell into a brief silence.
Levon looked at the golden figure, feeling confused.
"How could it be him?"
"I clearly killed him just now!"
The person who came was actually dead.
Beckett!!!
He stood in the air, his hands clasped in front of his chest, looking around, his face as cold as ice.
"There are two types of people I hate the most!" Beckett said slowly.
As he spoke, he pointed with one finger: "The first type, a two-faced person!!!"
Then he raised a finger: "The second type is the person who commits crimes against his superiors!!!"
As soon as the words came out, the soldiers below panicked. They looked at the secondary ship, then looked at the golden Beckett above, feeling quite dilemma.
Some people half-knelt on the ground, not caring whether Beckett could see them or not, and began to explain hurriedly. Some even started fighting inside the spacecraft.
The secondary ship that Levon was sitting on was fine. As long as he was in charge, nothing unexpected happened.
Levon turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to those who begged Beckett for mercy.
On the one hand, he didn't know the strength of this Golden Beckett yet, so he was a little unsure.
On the other hand, he also felt it was a bit weird. Wasn't he already dead? How could he still escape?
What's more important is to crawl out of the coffin. Levon clearly remembered that he did not prepare a coffin for Beckett.
Above, Beckett scoffed at the words "please forgive me" below.
His face was calm and he spoke slowly in a magnetic voice.
"I don't like to hear the reasons, I only like to see the results!"
"I am very dissatisfied with the result of your choice."
"You guys..." Beckett slowly raised his left hand with his five fingers spread out.
As Beckett moved, countless cosmic dust in the void suddenly gathered together and reorganized into a giant hand that covered the sky.
Compared with it, the spacecraft is extremely small.
Beckett looked at these spaceships with an expression more indifferent than ever before.
"Since you are of the same race as me, I will give you a quick death!!!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Beckett pressed his palm downward and then clenched his fist.
The giant hand that covered the sky slowly pressed down, and the spaceship below had no time to escape and was directly covered by it.
The hull of the spacecraft seemed to be made of half paper. Once it touched the giant hand, it was directly broken, causing a huge explosion and flames spreading everywhere.
I don't know whether it was intentional or unintentional, but this giant hand missed the secondary ship where Levon was and the small spaceship next to him.
Levon looked solemn and returned directly to the floating throne.
Levon thought he couldn't do such a mysterious trick.
He was a little panicked!
Looking at Beckett's expression, it seemed that he was deliberately letting me go so that he could have a good talk with me later.
Can you beat him?
Levon thought about all the means he had at hand.
Invincible? Life-saving skills, now only have two left.
Display of Exclusive PC? The skill of free will is pretty cool, but how much hatred it will consume is still unknown.
Stop killing? That's even more devilish.
The sword seemed to be poisoned, obsessed with the scabbard, unable to extricate itself.
→_→
Levon sighed, and with a thought, his Display of Exclusive PC changed its skin and turned into the appearance of Stop Killer.
He placed the hilt of the sword into the void, then leaned one hand on the armrest of the throne and supported his cheek with the other hand, his eyes slightly narrowed, with a lazy and indifferent look of arrogance.
If you ask why this is the case?
The reason couldn't be simpler!
If you want to fight, you must argue with the other party before the fight. Before the argument, you always have to put on airs, act cool, and make a good posture.
By then, I can release my domineering spirit and defeat the enemy without fighting. That would be perfect.
If you really can't beat them and are pinned to the ground by them, then you've pretended everything you should have. It feels good, so just get yourself killed.
With this thought in mind, Levon felt a little relieved of the pressure in his heart.
And around, countless spaceships exploded under the giant hand made of cosmic dust.
After finishing all this, Beckett waved his hand casually, and the giant hand that covered the sky disappeared.
Inside the auxiliary ship, someone looked through the window, only to find that there was no spaceship around.
Everything was gone, not even the wreckage of the spacecraft.
As if those things never existed.
Levon naturally noticed this, and at this moment he felt heavier than ever before.
Because at this moment, Beckett's sights were on the secondary ship.
There was no contempt or hatred in his eyes, only calmness, as calm as dead water, without any ripples.
His eyes were golden in color, deep and noble, as if they had great penetrating power.
He could ignore the steel structure of the secondary ship and look Levon in the face.
Perhaps he noticed the gaze, Levon's slightly narrowed eyes suddenly twitched.
Then Levon slowly opened his eyes and said casually.
"You are not dead after all!"
As he spoke, Levon tapped the armrests of the throne three times, and his figure instantly disappeared from the spot.
And in the next second, he appeared above Beckett again, still looking down at him.
Beckett was not annoyed by Levon's actions.
"Oh? From what you said, it seems like you already knew this!"
Levon shook his head slightly.
"I don't know, but my intuition tells me that you are not dead!"
"Now it seems that my intuition was right!" Levon said this with an expression of emotion.
"Yeah, your intuition is pretty accurate!" At this point, Beckett paused and asked, "Did you know I would come a long time ago?"
Beckett's tone was gentle and his expression was calm, and it sounded like he was just chatting about family matters.
Moreover, his voice is extremely magnetic, gentle, and elegant, making it difficult for people to hate him.
Of course, if he hadn't destroyed the fleet of space battleships as soon as he appeared, Levon would have had a better impression of him!
Maybe we can hold hands, drink a cup of tea, and eat a bun together, and chat about our personal lives.
But now, he doesn't have that time.
Levon smiled slightly, so that Beckett could not tell the depth of his smile and could only hear Levon answering the irrelevant question.
"There is a kind of people in this world who will not give up easily"
"They like to get up where they fall!"
Levon looked down at Beckett below and narrowed his eyes.
"I think you are that kind of person!"
Chapter 42: Corvus Really Betrayed Me
"You're quite perceptive," Beckett said, half-jokingly.
Levon nodded slightly and replied noncommittally, "But I'm very curious as to why you're still alive. Can you explain?"
"It's not impossible to tell you." Beckett laughed, but then his smile abruptly vanished, and his eyes turned cold.
"But first, you need to survive my attack."
"Only a living person deserves to know the answer."
As he spoke, Beckett raised his hand slightly, and his fingertips suddenly glowed.
A beam of white light shot toward Levon on the throne.
It was the same attack that had originally killed Falim.
Levon didn't even blink, remaining completely calm.
He waved his hand casually, and the Display of Exclusive PC appeared in front of him. The white light struck the display and was absorbed immediately.
No damage was done at all.
Silver PC, so frightening.
In an instant, Levon had an idea in his mind.
He looked at Beckett with slightly disappointed eyes.
"Is that all? That's quite underwhelming."
"I thought you might bring me some surprises, but now I see I was mistaken."
"Trash is always trash. No matter how many times you're resurrected or given opportunities, it remains trash."
Upon hearing this, Beckett remained calm, neither angry nor upset, but deeply composed.
Beckett smiled slightly and said with a touch of admiration, "As expected of Thanos, your strength is truly formidable."
"Are you here just to flatter me?" Levon asked coldly.
Beckett shook his head slightly. "Of course not."
"But I'm curious. How many times can you block attacks of this level?"
Beckett raised his left hand, and a vortex began to form in his palm.
In the void, scattered light was swallowed up, and an even more terrifying aura emerged.
Levon remained unmoved, indicating his calmness.
Isn't this nonsense? Threatening a keyboard warrior through a screen.
It's like hoping to bite the air and suffocate it to death.
An absurd mental operation.
As Levon had anticipated, Beckett's ultimate move, which he had been saving, went silent the moment it hit the display screen.
Levon wanted to laugh.
The villains in this world have such a sense of justice that they all act openly and never engage in sneak attacks.
For such a person, Levon, who is a keyboard warrior, really wants to give him a banner to commend him.
And I wonder if these people have some sort of issue in their brains. None of them seem to like physical combat. They all prefer to stay put, delivering harsh words and chanting ultimate moves.
It's simply elementary school behavior.
After these two attacks, Levon had a general understanding of Beckett's strength.
Not as strong as him.
Levon stood up from his chair, looked at Beckett condescendingly, and said coldly.
"Have you had enough trouble?"
"If you're done, then go die."
Before he could finish speaking, Beckett suddenly burst into wild laughter.
"Indeed, enough trouble."
Before he finished, Beckett's eyes became even more golden, and his figure moved.
An afterimage flashed away, and in the next second, Beckett appeared in front of Levon.
He punched Levon hard in the chest.
In a flash, Levon instinctively extended his hand to block his chest but was still forced to take dozens of steps back.
Levon stared at Beckett, who was smiling not far away, feeling a bit alarmed.
If Thanos' body had not already formed muscle memory, that blow was purely based on subconscious behavior.
If Levon had to control this body consciously himself, his One Minute Invincible Skill would probably be wasted once.
The spot where his hand had been struck was trembling uncontrollably.
Levon calmly put his hands behind his back, his expression slightly solemn. "Though it was a sneak attack, making me take a few steps back is something to be proud of."
Beckett didn't respond but advanced again, his hand glowing with light, and he threw another punch.
Levon narrowed his eyes slightly and communicated directly with the PC.
"Make me a fighting master. No matter how much hatred value, I agree."
As soon as the order was given, Levon suddenly felt something new in his mind.
Fighting seemed to be his innate talent.
To him, Beckett's movements appeared in slow motion, and he could see them clearly.
At this moment, his consciousness was perfectly in sync with his body, with no lag.
Just as Beckett's punch was about to land, Levon turned sideways and narrowly avoided the blow.
Then he clenched his fists and took advantage of the gap between Beckett's attacks to punch Beckett in the ribs.
A warning sign flashed in Beckett's mind, and a shadow of death enveloped him.
However, his attack's inertia had not yet dissipated, making it impossible to stop instantly.
Even as an opponent, he had to admit that Thanos' sense of timing was terrifying.
Fast and ruthless.
Considering his unparalleled defensive methods, it could be said that Thanos in front of him was a 360-degree player with no blind spots.
It seemed that he would have to use that weapon, Beckett thought privately.
There was only a "bang" sound, and Levon's fist hit Beckett's ribs directly.
However, to Levon's surprise, Beckett remained unharmed.
Levon frowned slightly. Just now, his fist had struck an unknown object that absorbed most of the power from his punch.
Beckett stood there with an indifferent expression, not taking any action.
"Is that your trump card?"
Beckett nodded without denying it, and he didn't hide it either. He opened a wound on his body and took out a war glaive.
It looked a bit unusual, very long with sharp ends, and it appeared familiar.
For a moment, Levon forgot how bizarre it was to cut open his skin to retrieve a weapon.
Levon looked at the war blade, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
"Why do I feel like this weapon belongs to Corvus?"
He looked at Beckett suspiciously, pointing at the weapon in his hand.
"Corvus, you really betrayed me."
Although Levon's words were a test, his tone was very firm.
Let Beckett think he already knew about it.
"I didn't expect you to know everything, but why didn't you stop them?"
"Don't you claim to be the savior of the universe? Are you going to eradicate half of all life in the universe fairly? Thanos?"
"Why, can't I do it?"
Levon:
He really wanted to ask, "What are you talking about?"
In reality, this was indeed the case. What a mess. Beckett was clearly confused but still pretended to know everything. It was really difficult for him to dominate Levon.
But now that the matter was over, he had no choice but to keep calm. His face remained normal and extremely composed.
"Those who wish to leave will eventually do so, and you can't stop them."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 43: Defeat Beckett
After finishing his words, Levon stared at the war blade in Beckett's hand and said calmly, "I think he must have defected to you."
Beckett shook his head slightly, denying Levon's statement. "He is beyond my control."
"That man is very ambitious," Levon replied.
"I just borrowed this weapon," Beckett explained.
Levon nodded slightly and then said disdainfully, "Do you really think this weapon can stop me?"
Beckett chuckled and said nothing, but his calm demeanor showed he had full confidence in the war blade in his hand.
"This Cosmic Glaive has reputation of cutting though anything" Beckett admitted. "I don't know what it's like to be killed by your own subordinate's weapon."
He held the war blade in his hand, and its surface suddenly emitted a golden brilliance. Not overly bright, but still a bit dim. However, the aura it radiated was even more intense than sunlight.
Levon secretly smirked. He was truly a villain. It seemed in this universe, no matter who it was, as long as they were powerful, their aura was extremely potent and righteous.
At that moment, Beckett's figure flashed. Holding the war blade, he jumped up and slashed down at Levon. Golden sparks burned at the blade, and the once cold and lonely universe suddenly became extremely hot.
Flame contains light, light creates flame.
The unbearable heat directly distorted the surrounding area, turning floating dust into golden sparks. The sparks connected, forming a vast sea of fire, with a fierce and violent aura spreading in all directions.
Its momentum was sharp and swift, and its power was unmatched in dominance.
Levon said nothing. With a thought, the giant sword Deathbringer appeared in his hand. As Deathbringer emerged, an invisible murderous intent surged towards the golden sea of fire.
The immense murderous intent caused Beckett's breath to falter. Not only him, but the war blade in his hand trembled uncontrollably, as if it had encountered a natural enemy.
Realizing this, Beckett's heart sank. According to the information he had, Thanos' weapon was supposed to be a golden double-headed sword. What was this giant sword?
Particularly, the giant sword looked extremely unusual. Its scabbard was made of blood-colored transparent crystal. Through the blood crystal scabbard, the sword body seemed to be flowing with blood, and the sword edge appeared as a drop of blood.
This weapon was unlike anything Beckett had seen in his wars.
What made him even more anxious was the aura emitted by that sword—it was overwhelmingly powerful and bloody. It wasn't just murderous intent. If it were only murderous intent, Beckett wouldn't feel so frightened.
As a renowned emperor, he already had a dominant aura, let alone such a thing as murderous intent. Besides murderous intent, he felt a breath of death emanating from the giant sword. Although it was very faint and fleeting, ignoring it would result in significant consequences.
The breath of death, hidden within the murderous aura, was like a tiger concealed in the forest or a snake hidden in the mist. A moment's lapse could cost him his life.
At this moment, he had little confidence in the war blade in his hand.
Levon laughed, neither hiding nor blocking, nor retreating or evading. He held deathbringer and faced Beckett head-on.
Beckett's judgment was correct. Although the anti-killing method had not yet been released, the results were remarkable. The moment the war blade touched deathbringer, it split into two halves. There was also a golden arm attached.
Levon made a significant contribution with his sword. Gaining the upper hand, he showed no mercy and kicked Beckett hard in the chest.
Beckett flew out with a "whoosh" sound and landed on a meteorite from a distance, raising a cloud of dust. However, he didn't die immediately. Struggling to stand, his face was pale, and he coughed up a mixture of blood and black mist.
Levon stood there, waved his hand, and sword disappeared into the void. He then stepped into the void and walked slowly toward Beckett.
He looked at Beckett, who was more than a head shorter than him, and shook his head slightly. "I don't like you standing and talking to me."
Levon turned his palm into a sword shape and struck Beckett's shoulder with a single blow. Beckett, already seriously injured, knelt directly in front of him.
Levon looked down at Beckett with a sarcastic expression. "I really don't know if you're naive or ignorant. You actually expect the weak to defeat the strong. A subordinate will always be a subordinate. Relying on a subordinate's weapon to attack your superiors—do you think it's going to work?"
Having said this, Levon glanced at the war blade in his hand and nodded in realization. "That's right. Compared to the corvus, you're still far behind."
Beckett, coughing blood, raised his head. There was no despair or anger in his eyes; he remained calm.
"You can't kill me."
Levon laughed, said nothing, and simply raised his fist. However, Beckett remained unafraid.
"Do you know why, despite obviously being killed by you, I still haven't died?" Beckett asked.
Levon frowned. To be honest, he was also curious about this matter. He had clearly killed this man before, yet he still survived. It was truly mysterious.
He was very interested in this method. If he had known how to search for souls like in the novels of his previous life, he would have experimented on the person in front of him. However, it was still uncertain whether such methods existed in this world.
Although Levon was curious and wanted to understand this method, he did not show it.
Suddenly, a light flashed in Levon's mind. He remembered something from his previous life.
In the comics, the weapon known as the corvus seemed to have a very peculiar characteristic. It appeared that the soul of the corvus resided inside it. As long as the blade wasn't destroyed, the corvus would not die.
It sounded impressive. But did this really happen? Levon was skeptical.
Even if your body was destroyed, your soul should be useless. Your body would need to be recast or cloned...
Wait, Levon suddenly realized.
Clone.
Levon looked at the broken war blade not far away, and understanding dawned upon him. There were three possibilities. The first was that Beckett's soul might be hidden, but it was definitely not in this war blade. Otherwise, Beckett would never be so confident.
The second possibility was that the soul of the man in front of him was part of Beckett's soul. Even if Levon killed this man, it would not threaten Beckett's life.
The third possibility was cloning technology. The Beckett from before and the Beckett in front of him might actually be clones with implanted memories.
However, Levon felt the third possibility was relatively small. In his opinion, a strong individual is always unique and cannot be replicated by only science , like in comics mr sinister failed to make proper clone of jean grey due to soul issue.
---
Looking at Beckett, Levon's brows slowly widened, and he said indifferently,
"Do you think your soul will be safe if it's not here?"
Beckett was startled.
How does he know his secret?
Seeing Beckett's expression, Levon became more certain of his guess, and he continued.
"No matter where your soul is, Beckett, I tell you."
Levon leaned closer, staring into Beckett's eyes, and spoke word by word.
"You can't escape me , I am inevitable ."
"Those who deserve to die will definitely die."
After saying that, he didn't waste any time and killed Beckett directly, lest this guy refuse to receive his punishment and continue to provoke him.
However, something strange happened—after Beckett's death, his body did not remain but was directly transformed into dots of golden light.
And Corvus Glaive's war blade was also turned into smoke.
Levon smacked his lips. To be honest, he was a little envious of Beckett.
Not to mention how domineering and cool his appearance was, but with this way of exiting—turning into golden light and disappearing into the universe—this is a perfect way for a noble person to exit.
If it were made into a movie, I don't know how much money this scene would cost.
How could Beckett be so virtuous and capable?
Shouldn't this kind of scene be borne by a world-destroying overlord?
...
High in the universe, a strange continent floated, appearing peculiar from above.
This continent was dotted with countless black spots, and between these spots were colorful lights flowing, like rivers.
In the center of the continent was a huge black sphere.
The sphere exuded a massive gravitational force, causing everything to flow uncontrollably towards it, as if all streams were returning home.
However, there were some things beyond its control.
On top of this black sphere, there was a white city that was completely unaffected by it.
In the city, people came and went, no different from ordinary cities on Earth.
The sound of noisy exchanges continued.
In the center of the city was a cemetery, surrounded by thick black mist.
Inside the cemetery, there were countless wooden coffins placed in the open air.
On each coffin, a group of green flames flickered.
Suddenly, one of the flames began to grow, transforming into a golden-skinned humanoid.
It was obviously Beckett.
Next to him, the green flames on another coffin also transformed into a human form.
This figure held a rusty war blade, his face haggard and appearing terminally ill.
If Levon were here, he would definitely recognize this person.
This person was none other than Corvus Glaive.
He smiled sinisterly and said, "I warned you long ago not to mess with him, but you must not have listened."
As soon as Corvus Glaive spoke, Beckett was so angry he cursed him.
"If you hadn't retrieved the soul of your weapon at the crucial moment, I wouldn't have been defeated so miserably."
Corvus Glaive was a bit embarrassed and explained, "If I hadn't retrieved the weapon then, you wouldn't be the only one who would have died."
Beckett was speechless.
Recalling Levon's murderous sword that destroyed the world, he felt a pang of fear.
Indeed, whether Corvus Glaive had retrieved his weapon or not, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of death.
He had even risked another life in vain.
However, understanding is one thing, being angry or not is another.
Beckett was about to argue with Corvus Glaive when suddenly, the green flames on a coffin nearby began to change as well.
Although they were in the same state of soul as Beckett and Corvus Glaive, the aura they exuded far exceeded theirs.
It was like the difference between a firefly and a bright moon.
The figure wore a traditional yellow monk's robe and had a compassionate look on his face.
However, like Thanos and Beckett, this man was bald.
Even more remarkable than the two of them, this man didn't even have eyebrows.
He made a silent gesture: "My lord is resting, please stop making noise."
At this, calmness returned once again.
In the city, there seemed to be a few more figures, though it might have been an illusion.
...
After dealing with Beckett, Levon returned directly to the auxiliary ship.
Inside, the dog ran to the hatch first and licked Levon.
It perfectly demonstrated what it means to be a real dog lover.
Rocket Raccoon took a step back and approached Levon, giving him a respectful lick.
"I know that with your strength, not to mention one Beckett, even tens of millions of Beckett are not a problem."
Levon nodded noncommittally to this comment.
Vanity, everyone has it.
Beta's eyes were filled with gloom as he looked at Levon's figure, with dissatisfaction and... hidden fear...
He took a step forward and bowed respectfully.
"Sir, why didn't you stop him..."
Levon glanced at him with a rather cold expression, as if a chill could emanate from his face.
"I don't need to give you a reason for my actions."
"But I think you did well in finding the source of Coaxium. I will explain it to you this time."
"Similar to Beckett, I also despise duplicitous people."
"Betrayal, once in a lifetime is enough."
After saying that, regardless of whether Beta heard it or not, Levon returned directly to the lounge.
Inside, Lulu was lying on the recliner, her eyes slightly closed, looking as if she were asleep.
Levon returned to his throne and took a deep breath.
There was some worry in his heart.
Beckett had been resurrected, and Corvus Glaive's weapon was also in his hand. Levon always felt as though there were a pair of eyes hidden in the starry sky above him, watching him from time to time.
It felt like he was caught in a conspiracy, trapped in a trap.
He always felt like there were unscrupulous individuals plotting against him.
This was quite a headache.
He sighed sadly.
He felt quite regretful. If he had known earlier, he would have ruined his character by not hanging up and going to the bathroom that day.
If that had been the case, time travel would never have happened.
It hurt his body and burned his brain.
Just like a suspense drama, there were pitfalls everywhere, waiting for him to fall into.
Damn, I'm exhausted.
He summoned the system and checked his hatred value.
Only 61 points left...
Levon was instantly enraged. He hadn't done anything; he just used the Express Demand skill on himself to become a fighting master.
And becoming a fighting master is not permanent.
Just like a special experience card, it would disappear automatically after defeating Beckett.
Levon frowned and suddenly became depressed.
To him, the hatred value thing was as useful as a soft girl coin.
If not, how could he survive in this universe?
The system required money everywhere. Without spending money, the system was quite unfriendly.
It was nonsense to expect that the lottery would change his life. It was not enough to rely on guarantees.
Levon touched his chin, and after a while, he took out a green stone wrapped in yellow paper from his clothes.
---
Chapter 45: Lord Raccoon
This green stone is the essential source of energy for space jumps.
The stone exudes a bright light, but strangely, under the green light, the surrounding space is somewhat distorted. In the space, a small hole visible to the naked eye appeared. Beyond the cave entrance, it was dark and nothing could be seen. However, the yellow paper wrapping the stone was intact, as if it was naturally incompatible with each other.
Levon touched his chin habitually. He wanted to see what would happen. He threw the yellow paper directly to the ground and lifted the Coaxium with his bare hands. He wanted to see what terrible things would happen. However, there was nothing except a tearing pain in his palms.
At this time, there was a knock on the door in the lounge.
"Enter," Levon said.
With the approval, Erha and Rocket Raccoon entered the lounge one after another.
Levon looked at the two of them and asked, "What's the matter?"
Rocket Raccoon walked not far from Levon, looked at the Coaxium in Levon's hand, and froze instantly.
Is this so awesome? Holding Coaxium empty-handed, and still looking like a normal person.
Holding back his shock, Rocket Raccoon explained his purpose. "Sir, when will we leave for the next place?"
Levon wrapped the Coaxium in the yellow paper again and threw it to Rocket Raccoon. "Immediately."
As for the original plan to go to Aligo with Beta, Levon gave up the idea for the time being. At first, he wanted to go to Aligore, because that was their home base. Go to Aligo and do something that will help him take control of this star fleet. Nowadays... just a lone ship and dozens of surrendered soldiers. What the hell?
What's more, after this experience, Levon is not so enthusiastic about Starfleet. Such a formidable fleet was destroyed by Beckett in a flash. Reminiscent of the plot in the movie of his previous life, Carol single-handedly knocked over Thanos's spaceship and battleship. Instantly stimulated. No matter how many people there are, what's the use? It's just being pressed to the ground and rubbed. Only top combat power is the foundation for survival in the universe.
Rocket Raccoon's eyes lit up when he heard the word "immediately." "Clear."
"Then shall we fly the original spaceship or..." At this point, Rocket Raccoon did not continue. He glanced at the lounge, and the meaning was self-evident.
Levon rolled his eyes secretly, this raccoon was playing tricks on him. But just as Rocket Raccoon said, this spaceship must be advanced and comfortable, of course. This is not about seeking pleasure; it is about being kind to yourself. After all, in this universe, I have no friends and only one dog. If you don't treat yourself better, how can you expect anyone to treat you better?
He glanced at Rocket Raccoon, smiled knowingly, and uttered two words. "Select the best."
"What about those people?"
"If they are willing to leave, just follow us. If not, stay," Levon said calmly.
Rocket Raccoon bowed slightly, understood, and then retreated. There were only two people and one dog left in the room.
...
In the spaceship, Beta and the other surviving Aligarians were all anxious at this moment. They didn't know where to go. Go back to Alig star? However, half a thousand battleships were all destroyed and the casualties were heavy. How would they explain to their compatriots if they returned to Aligo? Say, look, this is what our king does. Will anyone believe it? Probably not. They might even be arrested and sentenced to death.
More importantly, whether they can go back or not is mainly decided by Thanos in that lounge. God knows what he thinks now. It would be great if he was willing to take the remaining ones back. If anyone dares to have objections at that time, Thanos may use thunderous means to suppress all objections. But what if he doesn't want to? Then they will probably have no choice but to follow him around the world.
Just as they were struggling, there were footsteps coming from the left. Following the sound, it turned out to be Rocket Raccoon. He was wearing big leather boots, holding a gun, and a cigarette in his mouth. He looked very confident. Especially the steps that he didn't recognize, and the pure black leather boots, formed a perfect match.
He walked not far from the crowd, climbed on a table, raised the corners of his mouth slightly, and looked very naughty. He raised his gun and pointed it at them.
"Your Majesty has given orders to set off for the Celesti Star System immediately."
"Do you have any objections? Speak if you must. I'm always very reasonable." As he spoke, Rocket Raccoon loaded his gun.
Among the crowd, Beta looked calm, not disappointed at all, and even a little happy. He despised what the group of people next to him thought. A bunch of idiots.
Beta knew deeply that there was no other choice for them now; there was only one choice, and that was to follow Thanos all the way to the dark side. What will happen if you return to Aligo? Even if they explain clearly to their compatriots and control the situation, what happens next? Beta had a deep memory of what Beckett said before his death. "You can't kill me." That means that Beckett is likely to return to the galaxy again in a certain period in the future. What will happen to these people at that time? There is no doubt that there is only one outcome: liquidation. Might as well follow Thanos.
Now that he had made up his mind, there was no hesitation in taking action. Beta directly raised his hand. "Lord Raccoon, I am willing to follow in your footsteps."
Hearing this, Rocket Raccoon glanced at Beta with admiration. Lord Raccoon, well, that's a good title. The flattery is done very well. This word is simply tailor-made for me. This man is very good at talking. I will give him a small official position later and let him command the people in the spaceship.
Although he thought so in his heart, Rocket Raccoon didn't show it. He said seriously: "You have to remember, you are not following my footsteps, you are following Lord Thanos's footsteps. Do you understand?"
Beta shook his head with a very sincere expression: "Mr. Raccoon, you are our boss. Only you are qualified to directly follow in the footsteps of Lord Thanos. It is enough for us to follow your footsteps."
Rocket Raccoon clapped his hands and laughed, the admiration in his eyes becoming more and more obvious. To Beta, he was like a mother-in-law looking at a son-in-law. Of course, with so many people watching, he couldn't act like he was enjoying this. No, Rocket Raccoon's expression turned cold instantly.
"I hate flatterers the most. If you offend for the first time, I won't do it again."
Next to them, some soldiers applauded Rocket Raccoon's actions. "Well done, Master Roccoon."
"What a role model for our generation."
"Raccoon with such integrity are so rare."
Some people also mocked Beta. "Haha, ass-licker."
"I see, you have been blacklisted by lord, take it easy, Beta."
Rocket Raccoon raised his hand and pressed it down, signaling everyone to quiet down. He pretended to cough, and then said: "Among you, I think there is still a lack of a deputy captain to manage."
"Sir, I think Bebejia is extremely upright and capable. I think I am qualified to be the captain."
"Sir, don't listen to Bebejia's nonsense. He has incredible abilities. I, Bebeijia, have been trained as a leader since I was a child. This position belongs to me."
As soon as they heard that they were going to choose a team leader, the group of people immediately put the tangle they had just forgotten behind them. They could put everything aside for now. Thanos isn't going to Aligo anyway. It's definitely impossible for them to leave. To put it nicely, they are surrendered soldiers; to put it unpleasantly, they are Thanos's trophies. Personal freedom does not exist at all.
For a moment, there was chaos. Soldiers who don't want to be generals are not good soldiers. Everyone present is obviously a good soldier.
Rocket Raccoon frowned slightly and said loudly: "Everyone be quiet. I already have a candidate for the position of deputy captain."
"I wonder who your Excellency has chosen?" someone asked.
Rocket Raccoon pointed at Beta. "It's him."
All soldiers: ...
What the hell is going on? You just said you hate this kind of person the most. Why did you give him the position of deputy captain in the blink of an eye?
"Sir, I don't accept it. How can such a flattering person be the deputy captain?"
"Yes, I'm not convinced either."
Many people responded instantly. I don't blame them, they just made fun of Beta. If he becomes the deputy captain, he shouldn't retaliate against them.
When he was questioned, Rocket Raccoon instantly cooled down. He looked at those who spoke indifferently: "Why, do you have objections to my arrangement?"
Although they were threatened, some people were still angry, but their tone was a little weak when talking to Rocket Raccoon. "Sir, I have no objection to what you said. We are just curious about why Beta can be the deputy captain."
"Yes, we are just curious
."
Everyone hurriedly echoed.
Rocket Raccoon said coldly: "He is willing to follow in the footsteps of lord, so I let him be the deputy captain. Do you understand now?"
The group of soldiers suddenly felt that they had nothing to say. It's nothing more than your willingness to follow your lord's words. It's the deputy captain's position. If he gives it to you, what else do you want to do?
Seeing that everyone had nothing to say, Rocket Raccoon said coldly: "You must remember that lord has no patience with you. What do lord hate the most? If they can understand you, they will give you a place. If they don't understand you, they will give you a place. If you can't say it, there will be no place for you."
Everyone shrank their heads when they heard the words, indicating that they had heard it.
"Okay, get to work. Clean up the spaceship and prepare to leave."
After speaking, Rocket Raccoon jumped off the table and left with brisk steps.
Chapter 46: System Upgrade
Pretending to be cool, Thanos held the dog in his left hand and the baby in the other, slowly walking towards the lounge.
Back in the lounge, Thanos directly asked Lulu to play by herself, while he sank his consciousness into the system.
Just now, a voice suddenly sounded in his mind.
It's normal for the system to make a sound. After all, it's a big deal if the system makes a sound.
Thanos entered the system and found strangely that the hatred value data was no longer there.
What's up with this, man?
I've worked so hard to show off and attract hatred from all parties, but now you can't stop me.
Damn it, it came so suddenly.
The answer has not yet been found, but the system seemed to know what Thanos was thinking and took the initiative.
"Don't worry about it, dear host. This system has been upgraded recently and the legendary AI intelligent system has been awakened. Your hatred value is now hidden. It will come out again after I complete the upgrade."
"System upgrade? Yess!" Thanos was overjoyed. Before the system was upgraded, he, Thanos, could kick Thor and punch the Widow. Now that the system has been upgraded, he felt even more invincible.
At this moment, the system's voice brought him back to reality.
"Host, I know you have many questions now, just ask, this system will definitely be able to answer you."
"What's your name AI?" Thanos asked curiously.
"I am the companion spirit, you can call me Little Cutie, or just Cutie for short."
"Little Cutie? Female?"
As he spoke, Thanos' eyes flashed, and a small winged creature with golden wings landed on his shoulder.
The little Cutie had two pigtails and a dress, and her body exuded a green light. As she said, she was indeed very cute.
However, Thanos was stunned. How could it still be like this? How could it be embodied?
He held the little Cutie in his hand, and the two looked at each other with big eyes and no one said a word.
Thanos:...
"What can you do?"
"You can chat with the host to pass the boring time. Besides, if we have a good relationship, I will tell you some news for free. After all, I have this authority." The little Cutie raised her head proudly.
Thanos: "You have the right to abuse it. You are violating the rules and stealing from others. I want to report it."
"Am I violating the rules? Haha!" The little Cutie smiled disdainfully, with a terrifying smile on her face, and her eyes were full of threats: "You dare to report me for rebellion, you unruly man? You are so capable!"
Thanos was a little surprised that she was smart enough to play tricks and asked him to test it out.
"Can you do whatever you want if you have power?"
"Sorry, I can do whatever I want with the power, not to mention I'm cute."
Could it be a fixed answer routine? Thanos became curious and asked directly.
"How smart are you?"
" Not very smart, it's just a little more powerful than your mobile phones on Earth." As she said this, the little Cutie made a special gesture.
"Really?"
"Of course, this system never lies!"
"I love you!"
"Go away..!"
Thanos:...
There must be something wrong with the opening method, try again.
"Haha!"
...
It's quite smart. It's not only smart but also very personal. It's a hundred times better than the voice assistant that came with my phone before.
The bad assistant before boasted about his intelligence, but ended up talking about just a few words.
"Speaking of which, little Cutie, why did you show up?"
"The system needs to be upgraded, how many times have I told you!"
"Why isn't the system being upgraded? This happened so suddenly, I wasn't even mentally prepared. I'm a little shy!"
"Well, it's like this. Didn't you upgrade the keyboard and display to the silver version? You also upgraded my system to the silver version. No, isn't that very considerate, huh?"
Thanos twitched the corner of his mouth and asked tentatively: "Can we reset the version? I think the previous system was quite good. At least there weren't many harsh words."
Hearing this, the little Cutie covered her face with one hand in grief and pointed at Thanos with one hand, looking distressed.
"Do you remember who you are?"
"Remember, Levon, what's wrong?" Thanos was a little confused.
"That's not what I'm talking about..."
"Oh, you are talking about my other identity. Of course, I am the invincible and erudite wise man Thanos..."
Little Cutie:...
Unable to bear it any longer, she punched Thanos in the head.
Hiss!
Thanos took a breath. He was Thanos, but when she hit him like this, it was so painful.
"What the hell are you doing, killing the Lord?"
"I just want you to remember who you are!"
"Identity???" Thanos was confused.
The little Cutie is hopeless: "Keyboard warrior! Have you forgotten? Your duty!"
Thanos suddenly slapped his head, yes, I am still a keyboard warrior."
...
"Bah, you are a damn keyboard warrior, your whole family is the keyboard warrior."
"I am indeed a keyboard warrior! I won't deny this." The little Cutie said proudly.
Looking at the little Cutie's expression, the face that exuded a sense of responsibility and was covered in golden light, Thanos felt for the first time the weight of his burden.
"As a keyboard warrior, we must first adhere to a few principles."
"As the saying goes, a gentleman talks but never moves. We can talk but never move. If anyone dares to scold you, you should scold him. If anyone dares to hit you, you should scold him."
"And my mission is to help you find famous quotes from the vast and profound network when you can't spray your bullshit on the other person."
"What you need is not an assistant who is cruel and talkative, but an assistant who is timid and talkative. Do you understand?"
"Wang Wang Wang!"
Erha called out twice at the right time.
When Thanos heard this sentence, it was the same thing, but why was it so strange?
"I can obviously beat him up, why should I reason with him?"
"You don't understand this. Isn't it so cool!"
It makes sense. When Thanos heard what the little Cutie said, he nodded in agreement.
At this moment, the spacecraft shook suddenly. Thanos lost his balance and almost fell to the ground.
Thanos frowned and walked out directly.
As soon as he arrived at the door, Thanos found little Lulu lying on the ground, her forehead scratched and bleeding.
As soon as she saw Thanos, little Lulu pursed her lips and looked at Thanos with tears in her eyes.
"Daddy, it hurts!"
This made Thanos feel distressed. He held her in his arms and kept blowing on her wound.
"It's okay, it's okay. I'll blow it on my daddy and it won't hurt anymore."
On the side, the little Cutie rolled her eyes and asked curiously: "Is she your daughter?"
"Yeah, what's wrong?"
"It's not impossible." The little Cutie paused, flapped her wings, and flew to Lulu's side. She stretched out her finger and touched Lulu's forehead. The wound on Lulu's forehead healed immediately.
"It's just that I feel that She don't look much like you..."
"Get out!" Thanos couldn't help but curse.
Lulu blinked: "Dad, Lulu doesn't feel any pain anymore. Who are you talking to?"
"I'm talking to..." Thanos paused mid-sentence. Looking at Lulu's look, it seemed that she couldn't see the Cutie beside Thanos at all.
As if to confirm Thanos' guess, the little Cutie sat on Thanos' shoulders, crossed her legs, and stretched.
"You guessed it right, no one else can see me except you, the host. I'm sleepy, so I'll go back to sleep first."
The cute little figure flashed and turned into a green light, swaying around Thanos' head, and then directly entered his mind.
At this time, the spacecraft shook violently again
...
Chapter 47: A Chivalrous Person is Born with Knowledge!
"Sir... sir, it's not good, the spaceship is under attack!"
The little raccoon rushed towards Levon in a panic.
"Attack? By whom? Did you see clearly?"
Thanos' acting skills were impeccable; his expression remained calm and composed, showing no disturbance.
"It's a little girl, purple, a bit like you, sir." As he spoke, the little raccoon glanced at Thanos secretly. Her elegant and noble purple skin was exactly the same as the little girl outside.
Could it be his illegitimate daughter?
Oh, crap. The little raccoon suddenly became agitated and patted his forehead in frustration. He understood why the little girl attacked them for no reason. It must be Thanos who got the girl's mother pregnant and then, for his grand ideals, abandoned his wife and child.
In the end, he became famous and powerful, but his daughter lived abroad. She lost her father's love at an early age and grew hateful because of it. She vowed to kill her own father and fight against Star-Lord. Then she met true love and became free in the universe.
Well, the more he thought about it, the more the little raccoon felt this must be the case. Although the plot had twists and turns and was a bit melodramatic, isn't that how all interstellar TV dramas are played? "I can't forgive you, but it turns out I am a princess. You unqualified father, go to hell." TV series like Scumbag had plots that were simply absurd.
But, the little raccoon absolutely loved it.
Of course, there might be another situation. Maybe Thanos went out to travel, met a commoner girl, fell in love, and started living a shameless life, eventually giving birth to a child.
However, one day, Thanos' tribe came to him and said that Thanos was the son of their tribe and the reincarnation of the prophet. They brought Thanos back and killed the child. The couple fought to the death. In the end, the Thanos clan forced Thanos to compromise for the sake of the child.
"As long as you don't kill that child, I will go with you."
"Yes, but this child cannot practice, otherwise he will die!"
In the end, the child survived and depended on an alcoholic mother. One day, he found an awesome ring left by Thanos, started practicing spiritual arts, and embarked on the road to find his parents.
No matter what the situation was, the little girl outside the spaceship was so pitiful.
Sure enough, behind every great story is a poignant one.
Thinking of this, the little raccoon couldn't help but shed tears of emotion and let out a choked sound.
"Why are you crying?"
Levon was speechless.
"That child is so pitiful. Mom doesn't care, and Dad is absent..."
The little raccoon burst into tears.
"Wow...wow...wow!"
Maybe the atmosphere was too sad, and little Lulu burst into tears too.
Little raccoon: "Why are you crying?"
Lulu wiped away her tears: "I don't know, anyway, when I see you crying, I also want to cry."
Little raccoon: ...
Levon: ...
Bang! Boom!
The spacecraft trembled violently, accompanied by a violent sound.
Levon was a little confused. Who was attacking him? Who would shamelessly look for trouble with him?
Is it possible that he and Beckett are in the same group?
Not likely!
You can't be so stupid, right? I don't have the halo of the protagonist, and they won't be like a gourd boy saving grandpa, one by one.
Able to fight in groups as well as singles—are all today's villains such gentlemen?
Go out and see!
Levon secretly made up his mind. At this moment, the little cute voice suddenly came to mind.
"Is someone here to give you experience?"
"You could say that!"
Levon replied to the little cutie. After all, it was his own system, and he knew everything about it, so there was no need to pretend in front of her.
Little cutie: "Have you thought of your lines yet?"
"Lines? What lines?"
Levon was stunned!
The little cutie rolled her eyes at him, almost on the verge of tears: "Your entrance lines! You're also Thanos now, so you need to have an impressive opening statement."
"Later, you just say this..." the little cutie instructed Levon.
Levon felt a bit shy at first.
"Is that okay?"
"I...why do I feel that you are not training me to be a keyboard warrior, but to train me to be a force king?"
Little cutie: "You are wrong. Your understanding of keyboard warriors is too superficial. Keyboard warriors are not as simple as making excuses and scolding others. We keyboard warriors carry the spirit of chivalry."
"What is a chivalrous person? Someone who stands up against injustice. They speak out for righteousness, help the poor, and those in need. They hide their fame, leaving only the nickname 'Red Scarf'."
"Remember, as a keyboard warrior, don't pretend for too long or too much. Young man, you are the representative of thousands of keyboard warriors. Remember, keyboard warriors have a mysophobia about everything. Only pretend when necessary."
...
Outside the spaceship, in the endless void.
A purple girl stood among them, with exquisite facial features and extraordinary appearance. Although she was young, she had a majestic presence.
Damn, I'm so disgusted that I can't continue editing.
Thanos stepped into the void, as if strolling in a garden, and walked forward unhurriedly, with a smile on his face, clearly in a good mood.
"Why are you laughing?"
The purple girl looked at Thanos in confusion.
"The eagle is lonely in the sky. Wouldn't it be boring if there are no two chicks underneath to challenge it?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Levon regretted them.
Little cutie, are you sure these words are not inappropriate?
Okay, I'll do the work, don't worry, it's very stable!
The little cutie was confident.
Damn, don't lie to me. Recently, I have noticed the mysterious ways of the universe. If we are discovered doing this, we may be wiped out.
The little cutie paused, her face full of solemnity.
Are you talking about the place of exile in the universe, The Land of Couldn't-Be-Shouldn't-Be? The place where there is no time and space, where you are not even aware of yourself?
I remember that it was created by the magical point of creation at the root of the universe! In The whole world no more than three people might Know, how do you know?
A chivalrous person is born with knowledge!
...
The purple girl obviously didn't hear what was said and stared at Thanos with excitement on her face.
"So then you must be very strong!"
Although it was a question, her tone was extremely determined.
"Strong? I don't know. To be honest, even I myself have not known my own strength for hundreds of millions of years!" Thanos paused, and a look of nostalgia, longing, and emotion flashed across his expression.
"Since I was born, I have met too many opponents. I don't know what their strength is. They all seem to be vulnerable."
"Oh?" The little girl was a little curious: "Then what is the most severe battle you have ever experienced?"
Thanos thought for a moment and then spread his hands: "A long time ago, five great masters in magic, mechanics, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and space geography besieged me. In the end, I survived."
Physics? Chemistry? What's this? The little girl was a little confused, but looking at his proud look, these five people must be the best in the universe, and they might be able to compete with his father.
"Then what price did you pay?" The purple girl couldn't help but ask.
"Cost?" Thanos laughed, but that smile showed exhaustion and desolation.
"It didn't cost anything, just some hair strands."
---
Chapter 48: I Am Your Father
The purple-skinned girl looked at Thanos' shiny bald head and gently stroked her hair, feeling a bit suspicious in her heart.
Are they really just some hair strands?
Though there are indeed people in this world with less hair than others, what this person said seemed too mysterious.
And is what he said true or false?
Are there really such masters in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and space geography?
If so, why did my father never mention it to me? Thinking of her father, the purple girl couldn't help but feel a flash of worry in her eyes.
Father, he has not appeared again for a long, long time, and has not held me again.
"Who are you?"
"Where do you come from?"
"Where are you going?"
"Why are you attacking me?"
Just then, Thanos' cold voice came, interrupting her thoughts.
The girl looked at Thanos and slowly revealed her identity.
"Galacta!"
Galacta? This name is so familiar, I always feel like I've heard it somewhere, and why do I feel a familiar presence from her body?
"Have we met?"
"No!" Galacta shook her head and then asked, "Who are you?"
"Thanos."
"What? Are you the knowledgeable and wise Thanos?"
Galacta was shocked, her eyes wide open, and she was very surprised.
Thanos: …
Such obvious flattery makes him feel a little embarrassed even though he is a keyboard warrior.
Although this girl was telling the truth, she still felt that something was wrong.
I do have great talents, I don't deny this, but looking at her, she doesn't seem to know what I or this body is doing.
I have killed half of all life in the universe!
This Galacta, why isn't she afraid of me?
Thanos looked at Galacta, always feeling like her body was shrouded in a layer of mist.
"Child, where are you from?" This time, Thanos' voice was very gentle, like a kind old grandfather.
"Me? Earth!" Galacta pointed in one direction and said without thinking.
"Earth?"
"Impossible, that's not the direction of Earth at all." Thanos directly rejected her answer.
"I'm not lying to you, I am indeed from Earth."
"Then where are you going?"
"I don't know." Galacta blurted out.
"Don't know?" Thanos was a little confused. "Did you have a conflict with your family? Did you run away from home on a whim?"
Speaking of her family, Galacta was obviously a little disappointed.
"No, I didn't run away from home. I don't have a mother, and my father hasn't taken care of me for a long time."
Thanos was a little stunned and looked at Galacta, with pity and sympathy flashing in his eyes.
Another homeless kid.
However, Galacta's statement made Thanos even more confused.
"Then why are you here?"
"I didn't create it either. I just remember that when I was flying on Earth, I found a black hole, which was connected to a black world."
"Is it here?"
"No, it was much worse there than here. It was in tatters and the space was broken into countless pieces and intertwined together. So I touched a piece of space fragment out of curiosity. Who knew that it directly triggered a space-time turbulence and almost killed me? After I came out of the turbulence of time and space and floated across a dozen galaxies, I ended up here."
Speaking of this, Galacta patted her heart with lingering fear.
Thanos looked at Galacta's expression, which didn't seem to be hypocritical, and nodded to agree with her statement.
"Then why did you attack my ship?"
"Because I'm hungry and want to eat. I've been floating for so long and then I met a few of you alive."
Galacta pointed to her mouth, looking matter-of-factly.
"You want to eat me?"
Thanos looked at Galacta with interest.
"I just thought about it." Galacta nodded and then continued, "I don't think about it now."
"What? Are you impressed by my talent?" he said shamelessly.
"No." Galacta rolled her eyes at him: "You are so smart, you must be delicious, but you are so smart, you will definitely be able to convince me not to eat you. Instead of listening to you nagging later, it's better not to eat you."
Hearing this, Thanos touched his chin and nodded in agreement.
"There is nothing wrong with this logic. Full marks. Although I am not the former Thanos, he is an expert in trolling people. Especially with the support of the little cutie and thousands of friends in his previous life, he is already in an invincible position."
But having said that, no matter how Thanos looks at Galacta, she feels a bit like a devil.
This gal actually eats raw food!
Really scary.
Judging from what she meant, there was no life for her to eat along the way, otherwise, she wouldn't be targeting me.
Wait!
Thanos suddenly realized a serious problem.
Galacta drifted through more than a dozen galaxies without encountering a single living being!
This is simply not possible!
I have also studied the distribution of cosmic civilizations on the spaceship in the past few days. The nearby Alpha, Carolingian, and other galaxies have highly developed civilizations. It is impossible for there to be no life there.
Even if I randomly wiped out half of the creatures in the universe, those galaxies would still have life.
And based on my experience watching movies in previous lives, Thanos would never do this! The original intention of Thanos gathering the Infinity Stones and snapping his fingers was to continue civilization, not to destroy it!
This can be seen from the fact that before he collected the Infinity Stones, he only killed half of the creatures on each planet.
His random elimination of half of all living things was definitely within each planet, not the entire universe. Otherwise, it would have violated the original intention of continuing civilization.
Is Galacta lying to himself?
There is this possibility.
Maybe it was Galacta who devoured the creatures on those planets.
Thanos stared at Galacta. If she really did this!
Regardless of whether he is Levon or Thanos, he cannot accept or forgive her behavior.
It would be a disaster for such a person with such a strong desire to kill to stay.
She must die!
But what if Galacta didn't lie to herself?
So where will the creatures from the Alpha, Carolingian, and other galaxies go?
What happened there?
Is it possible that the people in these galaxies disappeared on their own in just a few years?
Could it be that they encountered an irresistible natural disaster?
Or...that inference is true!
Thinking of this, Thanos couldn't help but feel a little heavy. If that inference was true, it would definitely be a disaster!
A catastrophe that spreads throughout the universe!
Eternity, infinity, death, annihilation, and Galactus are all unstoppable.
Unless the legendary Heart of the Universe reaches a magical point, there is a chance to turn things around!
But that is just a legend after all.
No one has ever been able to prove whether there is a singularity.
However, at the physical level, the singularity has been confirmed. It is a "point" with infinite density, infinitely high space-time curvature, infinitely high heat, and infinitely small volume. It can be said that the singularity is the ultimate outcome of all and wonderful things gathered.
Physicists speculate that a singularity exists in the center of a black hole because its density is the same as that of a black hole, making it immeasurably large.
Biologists speculate that the singularity is located somewhere in the core of the microorganism because its size is too small to be measured.
Writers speculate that the singularity is located in the gap between space and time, because the curvature of the gap between space and time is infinitely high, and because the point is extended into a line, the one-dimensional world is created; because the line is spread out into a surface, the one-dimensional world is created. There is a two-dimensional world; because of the accumulation of this surface into a body, there is a three-dimensional world; and finally because of the movement of this body, there is a four-dimensional world.
...
Of course, it's possible that I am just overthinking it. Maybe Galacta's route in the universe is relatively remote and she hasn't encountered any civilization.
The universe is so big, how normal it is to travel without encountering someone!
Thanos comforted himself like this.
But even so, he still looked at Galacta with a somewhat uneasy look.
"You come with me." Thanos pondered for a while and said calmly.
Galacta was not very happy and refused.
"No, I'm starved to death. I have to find something to eat, so I don't have time to spend time with you, an old man."
"Are you rejecting me?"
"What? No? You're not my dad. How can you care where I go?"
While speaking, Galacta didn't even look at Thanos, stepped on the void, put her hands behind her back, and walked slowly in one direction alternately with her front and back feet.
Seeing this, Thanos didn't say anything. He slowly raised his right hand and shook it violently towards the void.
A terrifying aura suddenly filled the surroundings, and then wisps of rich black mist began to wrap around Thanos' right hand. In the mist, there was a banging sound, and there was a faint bloody and coquettish purple-red light flashing.
The boundless evil energy condensed into substance, as if an ancient beast was slowly awakening, or as if an ancient demon reappeared in the world.
Then, Thanos stomped his feet violently, his body was like a hurricane that rolled up a thousand layers of waves, soaring into the sky, and charged straight towards Galacta.
Galacta stopped, turned around, and looked at Thanos without any movement.
"What? Do you still want to fight with me?"
"Then I'll tell you one last thing." Thanos came to Galacta, his eyes were as deep as stars, and he said word by word, "I am your father."
What?
---------------------
Chapter 49: Conquering Galacta
Galacta wanted to speak out and refute Thanos, but it felt as though an invisible hand strangled her throat, rendering her silent.
Perhaps frightened by the terrifying pressure, Galacta couldn't help but feel the urge to submit. Her legs began to sink slowly. Just as she was about to completely kneel, her body suddenly stopped.
I am the daughter of the great Galactus. My bloodline is noble and holy, unmatched in the world. How can I kneel to anyone?
Galacta gritted her teeth, standing up slowly against the overwhelming pressure. Her body creaked as if her bones were misaligned. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, making her look pitiful.
"My heritage will not allow it, my pride will not agree, and my father will not forgive me!"
"Fight!"
A powerful force burst out from Galacta's body. The purple armor covering her began to merge into her skin, revealing a delicate face. Wisps of purple light shot out from her, countering the dark mist around Thanos. The bloody and purple-red light was directly revealed.
An unparalleled giant sword appeared in the universe. The transparent scabbard showed the blade inside, with blood-colored liquid flowing within. The murderous aura emanating from it felt like a boundless sea of blood.
Galacta gazed at the killing sword before her, feeling more oppressed than ever.
Though this giant sword hadn't been unsheathed, she had no doubt that if it were, the sky would collapse, the earth would fall apart, and stars would turn upside down.
"Is this all your strength?"
Galacta stared at Thanos and the sword in his hand, not daring to blink.
Thanos didn't answer. He just grabbed the hilt and swung it at her.
A flash of light shot towards Galacta, annihilating everything in its path. In the blink of an eye, it was upon her.
Startled, Galacta's heart leaped into her throat. Instinctively, she raised her hands, forming a heart shape. Her body emitted a dazzling purple light, flowing through her limbs and bones. The brilliance gathered between her hands, condensing into the shape of a small insect. The little bug, the size of a finger, seemed to be sleeping.
But as the sword light was about to strike, the insect awoke, opening a mouth disproportionate to its size. The mouth matched the heart shape formed by Galacta's hands, exuding terrifying devouring power. The sword light was twisted and cut off. The insect leaped from Galacta's hand, swallowing the remnants of the sword light in three or four bites.
Thanos wasn't annoyed by the failed attack. Instead, he looked at Galacta with approval.
"As expected of my daughter, you are very good!"
Hearing this, Galacta sneered.
"You do not deserve that title!"
She disappeared instantly.
"Woof woof woof!"
"Lord, be careful!"
On the spaceship, Erha and Rocket were startled, speaking simultaneously. At that moment, Galacta appeared behind Thanos and kicked him hard on the head.. Thanos smiled coldly, turned to look at Galacta, and took the blow without moving.
"Hey, it hurts!"
Galacta hugged her foot, breathing heavily.
"Your speed is too slow and your power is too small," Thanos commented calmly.
He had activated his cheat system at the critical moment, hardening his head.
Ganata stepped back, eyeing Thanos cautiously. The world's evaluation of him flashed through her mind: knowledgeable, kind, and gentle. Seeing him today, she realized it was all rumors. There was no gentleness in him; he was violent and threatening.
And why was this guy so strong? Even the head, typically the weakest part of the body, was impenetrable. Such a well-rounded warrior was impossible to defeat.
As Ganata thought this, her stomach growled in protest. The previous battle had exhausted all her energy, leaving her weak.
Thanos stood not far away, seemingly aware of her predicament. He smiled, putting away his killing aura. His chilling demeanor vanished, replaced by a kind, almost fatherly presence. He walked slowly to Ganata, extended his hand, and said, "You are homeless, and I have a home I cannot return to. We are both destitute in this world. Be my goddaughter."
Home? Upon hearing this word, tears welled up in Ganata's eyes. Looking up at Thanos, seeing sincerity in his eyes, she extended her small hand.
"Father!"
Thanos smiled and nodded. He had initially wanted to overpower Galacta and take her to the Alpha and Carolingian galaxies. But at the last moment, he changed his mind. If Galacta hadn't lied, taking her forcibly would be cruel. It was better to adopt her. If she lied, he'd simply deal with it. After all, Thanos was no stranger to harsh decisions.
As he held Ganata's hand and turned to walk towards the spacecraft, a gust of wind blew from nowhere. Thanos frowned and looked in the direction of the wind. The space shattered by Ganata's kick hadn't healed and seemed to be expanding. It was like a crack in the earth, continuing to grow. Small gaps appeared in the previously intact space around it, and parts broke away, turning into space debris drifting in the universe. Where the space once was, there was boundless darkness and wisps of black aura emanating from it, like hands reaching out.
What's going on?
Thanos was solemn. Space should be self-healing, yet it wasn't. Instead, it was still expanding, albeit slowly.
Just as he wondered why, a piece of space debris collided with an intact space, causing it to annihilate.
"Damn it, how can this happen?" Thanos muttered.
"It's been like this since I was on Earth..." Galacta's voice trembled.
"Did this also happen on Earth?" Thanos asked, suspicious.
"No, I mean the world I entered after passing through that black tunnel on Earth was the same..."
Thanos's suspicion grew. "Tell me the truth, are there really no life forms in those dozen galaxies?"
"I told you there really aren't any!" Galacta replied impatiently. "When I passed through those galaxies, there was no one. Some places were just like here, rotten and dangerous."
