Jared, wearing a smile that resembled that of a salesman, began, "Sir Ker Ajax—"
Ajax interrupted, waving off the formalities. "Don't worry, sir. You can just call me Ajax."
Jared nodded, acknowledging the request. "Ajax, why don't you come and live with us?"
The unexpected proposition took Ajax by surprise. He had a family waiting for him back home, so he politely declined. "No, sir, I'm sorry. I can't stay here."
Jared's expression shifted to something more serious as he persisted, "Don't worry. I can help you build an even happier family here. Why don't you reconsider and live with us?"
Ajax firmly shook his head. "No, I can't," he repeated, declining the offer without hesitation.
Jared's face grew even more serious, his tone darkening. "If you won't come willingly, I'll have to make you stay." With that, Jared unleashed a powerful punch, hitting Ajax squarely in the face and sending him flying a considerable distance.
Dazed by the sudden attack, Ajax quickly gathered himself, realizing that he was now in for a serious fight. Ready for the upcoming battle, he prepared to face Jared head-on.
Ajax stood up from the ground, quickly assessing the situation. As he did, Ceil's voice echoed in his mind, "We should run, Ajax. You can't win against him."
The words shocked Ajax. Ceil had never sounded so unsure before. Without hesitation, Ajax asked, "Ceil, do I have any chance of beating him?"
Ceil responded, "Yes, but only a 1% chance. If everything goes perfectly, we might win. But if not..." Ceil trailed off, leaving the grim reality unspoken.
Ajax understood what Ceil meant and didn't push further. As he contemplated his next move, his opponent, Jared, began to speak aloud, almost as if talking to himself. "I thought gods were supposed to grant whatever wishes were asked of them, but this god refused my wish. How can there be a god like that? If he doesn't want to live with us, I'll convince him that we're strong enough to make him stay."
With those words, Jared summoned a sword, pointing it at Ajax. "I'll show you my strength and make you live with us," he declared, charging toward Ajax with his sword.
Ajax, thinking quickly, used his barrier control to create a shield to stop the attack. However, with a single strike from Jared's sword, the barrier shattered. Realizing the imminent danger, Ajax raised his own sword to defend himself. The clash of their blades echoed through the Egghoud, the sound waves so intense that they shattered the nearby egg shells.
Desperate, Ajax ordered Ceil, "Ceil, combine all the spells, the sword, and the barrier with Void Chaos energy."
Ceil responded with concern, "But if you do that, your body won't be able to handle the energy. You'll be exhausted in no time."
Ajax, determined, replied with a confident smile, "I know that, but if we don't take this risk now, we'll end up living here for the rest of my life. I don't want to leave my new family like this."
Even though he wasn't certain of victory, Ajax's resolve was clear. He would give everything he had, even if it meant pushing his limits to the brink.
Jared charged at Ajax again, but this time, Ajax infused his barrier with Void Chaos energy, turning it a deep, ominous black. The barrier held for a moment, stopping Jared's sword, but in the next instant, it shattered completely. Seizing the opportunity, Ajax surged forward, channeling Void Chaos energy into his sword. As their weapons clashed, the resulting shockwave was even more destructive than before, amplified by the chaotic energy.
Jared was pushed back, but instead of anger, a smile spread across his face. "Young god Ajax, it seems you crave more power. Don't be disappointed. I'll show you my full strength now." As he spoke, Jared's body began to expand, his armor ripping apart as he grew. His sword also enlarged to match his increasing size. "Look, young god, I'm coming for you with this power. I'm going to convince you to stay with us."
Ajax was baffled by Jared's words. He hadn't fully registered Jared's earlier ramblings, but there was no time to dwell on it now. "What the hell is this fucker talking about?" Ajax muttered, frustration mounting.
Jared leaped high into the air, descending like a fiery meteor, surrounded by flames, his full power on display. Faced with this overwhelming force, Ajax made a decision—he would use Void Chaos energy in its purest form. Ceil immediately protested, warning against the dangers, but Ajax was resolute. He ordered Ceil to follow his lead.
Summoning a black sphere of pure Chaos energy into his hand, Ajax aimed it at Jared and fired. To his shock, Jared deflected the Chaos ball with ease, swatting it away like a baseball. The sphere disappeared into the sky, out of Ajax's sight. In the next moment, Jared was upon him, landing a devastating blow that sent Ajax crashing to the ground.
Ajax struggled to regain his footing, already feeling the toll of using Chaos energy so continuously. Jared, towering above him, seemed unstoppable. Ajax knew he was running out of options, but he wasn't ready to give up yet. Despite the overwhelming odds, he prepared himself for whatever came next.
in next second Jared came from behind knocking ajax to the ground unconscious
and Jared picking ajax up said " i showed my power to my young god ajax so you are coming with me " he said that and started walking to his city lord home
