Ang saw a note on the leaf describing the meeting time and place, signed by A1. "So they did figure out my identity. Guess the information/spy network of the dark clans is nothing to scoff at." Ang thought with a smile on his face. Initially, he wanted to stay away from them. Yet, after thoroughly assessing his memories and current situation, it was evident that he needed as much support as possible to build his own stronghold.
The next day morning, Ang was waiting in his room patiently for the tea that arrived every morning.
Knock Knock..
"The doors open," Ang said upon hearing the knock on his door.
The doors to his room opened, and a maid dressed in a black and white uniform entered, pushing the cart containing the teapot and a cup. Ang observed her and said, "Anyone who doesn't know the truth would think of you as a real maid."
"Ah, Young Master, I am your maid. What are you talking about?" the maid said, looking confused.
"Tsk~ I may be weak, but I am not dumb. Cut the act already, and tell me what you want." Ang said sternly. The instructions mentioned on the leaf were coordinates for his room, and the time was his tea time. It was a clear message from A1 to Ang that he could not escape the eyes of the dark clan.
"Hehe~ guess I am caught then. It's a pity I wanted to play with the young master more..." The lady said in a cute tone.
"So, who are you? And Why are you here?" Ang cut her off and asked.
Seeing Ang's serious look, the maid also got serious and said, "I am A6. Under Madam A1's direct orders, I am here to convey a message to the young master."
"Oh! What is it," Ang asked in suspicion. The dark clan members are not a bunch he can trust. He knew this first-hand from his time with them as the Lust King. They would do anything to attain their goals. As such, now that they knew his identity, they could potentially threaten him.
"Firstly, Madam A1 wanted to thank you for your help. She has verified the authenticity of the Art you provided, and the results are as stated in the legends." The maid said in a sincere tone.
The maid's response took Ang aback. "WTF! Did she find my identity just to thank me? That would not be the case now, would it? There has to be something else," he thought. He had already read news about what happened during his seclusion. He found that a terrorist attack was initiated by the dark clans in multiple cities, killing many officials and commoners. To everyone's surprise, not even one of the dark clan members involved got caught.
"I already knew that. I was assuming she would test the authenticity immediately. I wonder why it took her so long." Ang said softly, lost in thought. The Art he gave was unique and could only be used by the dark clan. It would take little time to learn the Art as well. So Ang assumed A1 would test the authenticity immediately.
Hearing what Ang said, A6 quickly replied, "I guess we disappointed the Young master's expectations. But we had a good reason for that. Madam A1 had to return late to the clan since she had to fight a Master from the justice Faction."
"A Master..." Before Ang could speak any further, something clicked in his mind. Everything became clear to him. "So It was A1 that fought Freya. No wonder I felt odd around the old lady, so she was a Futa. She must be a Master level since she gave a satisfactory fight to Freya." he thought.
"Did her cultivation increase by any chance?" Ang wanted to confirm his theory.
"Yes, She is now in the third level of the Master realm," A6 said proudly.
"That makes sense.." Ang continued, "Now, that could not be the only reason you went to such an extent to find my identity and reveal your identity as well. So what is the real reason?"
"As expected of the person Madam A1 spoke highly about. Young master, there are two more things that I need to tell you." A6 said, nodding her head.
Even though Ang was cautious around A6, he was not afraid. Her true age was close to Khana, and she was only as strong as him. Even though he was weak compared to big shots, he was confident that no one could beat him when it came to handling people on the same level. The only person who defeated him at the same level was Shin. Thinking about shin left a bad taste in Ang's mouth.
"One. Madam has requested that you keep me around so we can stay in contact. We know you have reasons to avoid the Clans, but we cannot ignore our benefactor." A6 said sincerely, bowing down on her knee.
"WTF? I have a new underling now. I think A1 assumes I am someone important from the Cult hiding in the Justice faction. It's not like I mind that. Since it benefits me, I should just let the misunderstanding be for now." Ang thought for now.
"As long as you do not get in my way," Ang said with a grin.
"Thank you, Young Master !!" A6 bounced onto her two legs after hearing what Ang said. This sudden action made her assets jiggle, which Ang appreciated internally.
"Well, having beauty accompany me everywhere is not bad," he thought with a smile.
"And the last thing is a question to the young master. You don't have to answer it if you do not want to." A6 said softly.
"What is it ?" Ang's interest was getting peaked by the way this beautiful lady talked to him.
A6 leaned slightly in Ang's direction and asked softly, "What did you do with the original Young Master of the Noble house?"
"What?" Ang was lost at this point. "What is the backstory they have in mind for him? Do they think I killed the original and am acting as him using body Arts?" Ang thought.
Looking at Ang's shocked expression, A6 quickly apologized and said, "I am sorry, young master. I know it's rude to ask for the real identity of a clan member in hiding, but we are curious. We want to know the identity of our savior."
"Hahaha," Ang laughed out loud and asked, "Do you want to know my true identity?"
"Yes.. I mean, only if you are comfortable.." A6 was slightly terrified by Ang's laughter. For a moment, she felt as if she was mocking someone who could kill her with a flick of his finger.
Ang composed himself, looked straight into A6's Eyes, and smiled, saying, "Who knows, maybe I am really the young master of the First noble house or Maybe I am the King of the dark clans possessing this unfortunate Man."
Hearing what Ang said, A6 lost her cool for a second. She felt sweat dripping from her forehead, as she felt like a great expert, strong enough to wipe the mountains and dry the rivers, sitting right before her in the form of a young man.
