Mac lived in his uncle home. He didn't know much about his uncle since they were distant relatives. His father who was no longer alive was once told him to take care of his son after his death. Mac never even saw what his uncle lookes like before his father death. Not in family photo or any family reunions. He only saw him only one time when he arrived his uncle's home. After that one time, Gib was no longer seen again.
"I will be going out for a while now. Since you're an adult now, I will leave you to take care of my house and my field behind it."
Those were the things he said before he went.
It's been already half a year since Gib had left but Mac still had no idea why he left, where he left and what was the purpose of the grass field his uncle left. It was wide enough to house at least two football stadiums. The grassfield had quite comfortably short vegetations so there was no problems of encountering with hidden snakes.Â
The field was surrounded by well secured 10 feet tall iron fences. Beyond the fences was unknown territories shrouded in fogs. Mac thought they were creepy so he never tried to
ventured beyond the border. The weather was always cloudy even in summer when he first arrived.Â
The house was several miles away from nearest town, long enough to drive from early morning sunrise to past noon. It was three storey high and made almost completely out of timber and ground floor in concrete. There was a two storey basement beneath with first floor for winery and second for long lasting food supplys.
Mac, oneday, was bored so he started strolling in the gigantic grass field. He heard the sounds of wind howling from far away. There seemed to be storm a few miles from here. Even though storm was happening, the rain didn't fall on the field or his destination. Not one bit of wind were blowing. He thought that was weird. But the weirder stuff was ahead of him waiting.
The day was foggier than usual. So anything ten feet apart was blurry. Mac thought it was good idea to return back to the house. Right as he turned away, he saw a silhoutte in the fogs. It has long upright ear and slightly rounded small body and fluffy round tail. It was a rabbit...No...it is quite larger than rabbit and it was in a field so it might be a hare. But the more the fog disappeared the more he had gotten surprised.
The hare was in purple color and it had golden glowing eyes. Luckily for Mac, there was a phone in his pocket. He quickily took it out and snap its picture immediately. Just as the image got in the perfect frame of the camera, the hare disappeared. He ran back into the house in excitement and fear. He looked at the picture again to check if it was some kind of hallucination. It wasn't. He perfectly captured the photo of the hare. He then went to bed without even having dinner. He felt tired from all the walking and immediate surprise from his encounter with a strange creature. He decided to find the information of the hare on web the next day and fell asleep.
