That was the first day of school.
I was feeling very nervous because of the extended school day and the anxiety, I felt as if something new was happening this year.
I was looking around after doing some business on my desk.
That was the first day of my high school, that's why I haven't made any friends till now.

She found out my name from the name plate on my jacket.
While sitting on my desk, I saw that the boy sitting behind at the last row in corner and his friend were talking. From the way that boy talked it seemed as he was one of the topper among the kids.
I looked towards him carefully and my eyes fell on his name plate.
His name was Karan Sharma.
Then the morning prayer bell rang and everyone came to their desks and sat down. Then the homeroom teacher came to the class with his register.
Mr. Kapoor opened his register and marked the attendance of all the children.
I was looking at Mr Kapoor, he seemed to be in a very good mood.
He gave some important instructions and left.
When he left the class , our class looked like a vegetable market. All the children were making noise. The doors of the class were remain closed, due to which the sound was not going out.
There were 35 desks in the class and no one used to sit on 5 of them. There were lockers for everyone at the back of the class anda pin board above locker where all the news was posted.
While watching all this, I saw that Karan was sleeping , his head on his desk. I was wondering how he was able to sleep in so much noise.
Then our English teacher came.
