Somewhere in the Universe Kael just entered, there is a boy that looks a lot like Kael did back when he still had a body.
„ARGHH! I'm so fucking weak, at this point I would be better of dead before con…."

Those were the last words of Keal before he died due to weakness. His heart simply wasn't able to support his body any longer and he just collapsed.
Sadly he had no family left. His parents died in the war against the invading alien races and his aunt and uncle who were supposed to raise him suddenly abandoned him one day.
There was no warning and he even felt like they treated him greatly. But one day he drank some disgusting tasting alcohol he found standing on the counter and was instantly knocked out.
The day after that his uncle sent him to a school in a faraway city where he was supposed to live on campus. After that they never even bothered to contact him again like he was some waste they just got rid of.
His only hope was awakening a high level talent and being accepted into a large martial dojo but just hours before his system was supposed to awaken he sadly passed away.
But still every ending brings a new beginning with it. After all Kael's soul was finally able to find a body that was close enough to his old one. If there were too many differences between the two the body could reject his soul since it was not strong enough to forcefully take over a body at the moment.
But of course this body that died already due to weakness should not be able to support a different soul. Especially one that is stronger than the norm.
But luckily Kael's soul once again absorbed a small part of chaotic energy when traveling from the borders of Chaos to this world. It used all of this energy to strengthen his new body and make it durable enough to carry his soul.
„HUUUHHH"
Kael grasped for air
„Where am I?"
He looked around and seemed to find himself in a room that seemed similar to a typical student dorm.
Standing up he realized that he was somewhat smaller than he remembered to be. Luckily there is a mirror on the wall he can use to check his current appearance. Looking at the mirror on the wall he realizes that he looks just like his younger self when he was 16.
He was about 185cm with blonde hair and hazel eyes. His muscles were more refined and somewhat bigger than he remembered them to be. After all he was always on the skinnier side.
His face looks pretty good. About a 9/10 if you would ask most people. He has well-defined eyebrows with long eyelashes, at least for a boy, and a nice jawline. His mouth and nose are also neither too big nor too small.
But overall he just looks good. Not like a greek god or anything.
After making sure he still looks the same as always, or at least as when he was 16, Kael turns his attention back to his present situation.
‚Did I travel back in time? No that can't be right, after all i don't remember ever entering a dorm room before turning 18.'
‚But where am I then? I only remember something crashing through my ceiling before I entered a weird place that was really dark and also kind of cold.'
‚I also don't remember having any sensation in my body after the crash so did I fall into a coma?'
‚Wait, did science progress so much while i lost consciousness that they were able to reverse aging? Maybe they just changed the looks of a hospital room to make it more comfortable for people that just woke up from a coma'
‚Let me just check my phone, that would probably be the easiest thing to do'
So Kael takes out a rectangular device from his pocket that looks just like a mobile phone from his past life. Well maybe it looks a bit more futuristic and it also has some weird symbols engraved on the back.
‚Weird taste for the back of the back of the phone. I wonder who gave me this. Well let's just check out the calendar app'

,Did earth turn into a cultivation world whilst I was in a coma? No, this doesn't even seem to be earth anymore. Didn't they call it something like green planet? Did I transmigrate like the mcs of those novels I always read?'

At this moment Kael felt a splitting headache since a large amount of memories were transmitted into his head. 16 years of memories to be exact, after all it were those of Keal, the guy whose soul inhabited this body before him.
Going through those memories Kael finally understood the situation of his new body and the planet in which he was located.
According to this memories, about 1020 years ago this planet, back then still known as blue planet, was able to go beyond their solar system with the help of just technology. To reward this feat accomplished by the inhabitants of the planet, it was elevated to a mid-level planet. This reward is granted for achieving something extremely hard or something that is deemed impossible, like going beyond your solar system without the help of spiritual energy.
An increase in planet level meant both an increase in size, as well as an increase in the concentration of spiritual energy. This had both pros and cons for its inhabitants since they were now able to became stronger with the help of this energy. The downside was that they were now being eyed by other planets that coveted the treasures that go along with an increase in planet level. This downside was further increased by the fact that the humans in earth lacked techniques to make use of this new power.
Luckily for them they were inside the territory of a rather benevolent high level planet. One belonging to the elf race which is known for being peace-lovers. But since they can't simply guard the humans of the now mostly green planet forever, they gave them a thousand years for developement. After that time frame is over they will no longer protect them and the humans of green planet will have to face the combined attack of several other planets filled with hostile races.
Luckily for them, they made plenty of progress in their power and research, meaning they had the capability of at least protecting green planet from invaders. They probably just won't be able to attack those planets themselves for a rather long time.
But even then they already made some allies and their chances of winning the war are looking better and better.
Now how do humans increase their power? Just like every other individual in the universe they follow the path of cultivation, which means absorbing spiritual energy and making it your own.
Additionally every single being in the universe awakens a system that helps them to quantify their talent and progress. It also has a few other options but will never increase the strength of its host on its own. The most it will do is give advice and some helpful knowledge to even out the stage for those with a lower starting point.
You awaken this system when coming of age, which differs for every species in the universe but for humans it's when they turn sixteen, which for Kael should be right about…
