Jass upended herself onwards along the path somewhere, her arms clasped behind her.
The three companions do their damnedest silently, afar from her, their eyes prearranged on her scarpering figure.
They opined her as an antisocial silhouette moving through a forlorn gloom room, seemingly isolated in the darkness.
Their thoughts of precariousness clouded as they hum and haw in mind, still undecided on their course of action.
Meanwhile, Jassi curbed at the ingress of the gate, vetting the scene before her.
To her stupefaction, a vast depression spread out in front of her, evocative of a sinkhole.
The view was suggestive of standing atop a mountain - Crater type, where a person glanced down into a sprawling valley.
Cassie came to a stop beside her, and their companions copied Cassie's move.
As they took in the sight, their eyes augmented in mutual devastation.
"Heh! John and all the students have already united there."
Jassi comments on the sequence of the group assembled below of all students.
A swarm of over a hundred ants fringed the students, with their queen leading the leadership.
"How should we respond?"
Avora pondered, stroking her chin as she contemplated the best way to protect the group.
Jass, on the other hand, residual her unsympathetic standpoint. She could easily escape if she appropriated, but chose to stay and rescue the so-called hero.
What's her motivation?
It was a burning idiosyncrasy and plans to denude the whole storyline — at least for the next three volumes.
'System, is it possible… to invest in explosives or firearms in shops? Perhaps… hmmm! something capable of eradicate cultivators?'
Jass wants illumination on definite matters.
[Of course, dear host~~ If you have enough funds for items, you can hook any tool. There is a discount here which is that our prices are anchored and more affordable than those objects found across from any galaxy.]
'... Impressive, Isn't it! Fufufu~~ This information will prove incredibly helpful for me in future.'
Jass let out a soft laugh as she obtained various componente, spending $2000 in total.
Her purchases appended many kinds of explosives and weaponry things - specifically the Cruin US combat 1911 P black pistol.
Jass turned his gaze toward the three companions, a faint smirk playing on her lips.
"I couldn't care less about what happened to others. Even if I were protecting some individuals and they died in this quest. In simple words… I refuse to accept any blame!"
The trio felt an unsettling chill run down their spines with beads of cold sweat at their forehead.
They nodded wordlessly, their hearts gripped by an unexplainable dread because… why not?
***
"John, Isn't that a queen?"
Lily stood next to John.
He gazed coldly at the crimson ant before him.
The creature appeared to be in its expert and yes, It is still in this novice realm.
John knew that facing it alone would be treacherous and hazardous.
There were numerous other ants surrounding them, annexed to this threat for all of the students.
His heroic instincts exhorted him to charge forward, eliminating every foe in his sight — this was nothing but a life gambit if he hoped to survive this ordeal — Do or die match.
"Indeed, that is what seems like it to me!"
"What's our next move?"
Lily scratched her back of head with anticipation.
If I should say, Apart from her companions, Lily exhibited both courage and fearlessness.
As John's longtime confidante, she sensed he had a scheme in his genius brain.
As a skilled strategist, he excels at establishing the playing field.
His expertise is no surprise, given his victory in the previous year's chess championship tournament.
"Terminate as many as possible."
John murmured, gently pressed his hand on her shoulder. "We're nearly matching their numbers. If we don't do anything now, that monstrous matriarch will devour us all!"
The ant queen eyed him, her antennae twitching with curiosity and magically.
"Human, your scent carries a unique lineage."
"..."
"Approach!" the queen commanded.
John shook his head, "It's just cologne."
"What kind of thing is that?" That was puzzling to the queen ant.
Growing irritated, he retorted.
"bitch Cockroach, A scent far more pleasant than the stench you are emitting!"
"You dare call me such a disrespectful, dirty human? First, Kill this human and bring his heart to me!" The queen bristled at his arrogance.
Her frustration evident, she signalled her subjects.
A number of worker ants were marching toward him menacingly.
He turned to face his fellow students, his expression darkening with disquietude.
"I will do my utmost to safegu-"
—BOOM! —BOOM!
Suddenly, A pair of deafening blasts pulsated through the area, rattling everything in its footprint.
All eyes turned toward the source of the commotion.
The yellow flames engulfed the scene, while the several ants lay scattered across the ground.
The gruesome images have at least five insect carcasses, their bodies torn apart and strewn about, glued by pools of green liquid.
"Oh My, Feel like it's been ages since I last interacted with children with guns!"
A chilling, recognizable voice broke the silence that had settled over the area.
It was Jass, grinning at the insects while firing her weapon at the colony.
—Bang! —Bang!
As each round found its mark, the ants fell. When her magazine was depleted, she darted to the side, ignoring the shocking gaze of the surviving insects and their angry swarm.
"I'll fuck your entire army!"
Jass showed middle finger toward the monarch, then replenished her weapon's ammunition before continuing her relentless attack.
The queen shuddered in rage. It stared deeply to trace the crowd for the culprit as Jass turned tail himself from its vision.
Instead of Jass, it located a fox-eared girl snatching a spherical object from behind a cluster of ants.
'Fools!'
An icy voice rang out in its mind.
The girl shot her a lethal glare before removing something from the orb and throwing it into the throng of insects.
—BOOM!
A deafening explosion rocked the area after a brief pause.
The blast decimated everything within a 30-metre radius, claiming countless ant lives.
All the carnage was so annihilated that individual casualties were impossible to tally, as dismembered body parts littered the scene.
John was confounded by the royal rumble around him, which included several students.
A few of them wretched at the sight of the emerald-hued blood and inner organs of the ant.
Jass mumbled in a demonic tone.
"What's the meaning of you all people's reactions? If you never try to engage in combat with these creatures... I couldn't care less if you died here. I'm no saviour who will risk my own life to save your ass!"
