The surrounding trees bore sinister similarity to faces. Its branches contorted into grotesque hand-like shapes.
Empty sockets gaped where eyes should have been. From the prospective, It was seeming to peer into the very essence of their beings.

Jass lunged forward and shoved Cassie aside just as an arrow whizzed past, narrowly missing her from assault.
