Chapter 3 - past

Arya's eyes narrowed as she surveyed the facility's blueprints. "We need to split into two teams. Karan, take point with Alpha team and breach the main entrance. I'll lead Bravo team through the ventilation shafts."

Karan nodded, but Arya detected a flicker of hesitation. She pushed aside her doubts, focusing on the mission.

Shivay, meanwhile, received a message from Aradhya. "The White Caps are moving in. It's time to execute our plan."

Aradhya's eyes gleamed with a intensity that made Shivay uneasy. "Remember, our priority is to protect our interests. Whatever it takes."

Shivay's gut told him something was off, but he pushed aside his reservations.

As Arya's team infiltrated the facility, they encountered unexpected resistance. "We've got multiple hostiles, Arya!" her teammate, Ahir, called out.

Arya's instincts kicked in, her training taking over. "Return fire! We need to-"

Suddenly, the lights flickered, and the security systems went dark. Arya's heart raced as she realized they'd been sabotaged.

Meanwhile, Shivay's team, disguised as security guards, blended in with the chaos. Avi and Armaan took out Arya's team members, one by one.

Arya's eyes locked onto Shivay, her gun trained on him. "You betrayed me."

Shivay's expression was cold, calculated. "I did what was necessary, Arya. You were always meant to be a pawn in our game."

The facility erupted into a full-blown battle, both teams clashing in a deadly dance. Arya and Shivay faced off, their personal vendetta fueling the chaos.

Just as Arya and Shivay were about to engage in a fierce battle, a sudden explosion rocked the facility. The blast wave knocked them off their feet, and the room filled with smoke and debris.

Arya coughed, her eyes scanning the chaos. "Shivay! Shivay, are you there?"

A faint response came from the rubble. "Arya...I'm here. But we need to get out. Now."

Arya rushed towards Shivay's voice, her heart racing. She found him pinned under a concrete slab, his leg twisted at an awkward angle.

With a surge of adrenaline, Arya lifted the slab, freeing Shivay. Together, they stumbled out of the room, into the unknown.

As they emerged into the night air, Arya realized that the facility was in ruins. The explosion had destroyed everything.

Shivay leaned on her, his eyes locked onto hers. "We need to talk, Arya. About what just happened. About us."

Arya's mind raced with questions, but she knew that this was not the time. "Later, Shivay. We need to get to safety first."

But as they stumbled away from the wreckage, Arya couldn't shake off the feeling that their world was about to change forever.

As they reached the safety of a nearby hideout, Shivay's leg wound became apparent. Arya quickly tended to it, her fingers brushing against his skin. The tension between them was palpable.

"Shivay, what happened back there?" Arya asked, her voice low.

Shivay's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze intense. "I didn't order the sabotage, Arya. Someone else is playing a dangerous game."

Arya's mind raced with possibilities. "Who could it be?"

Shivay's expression turned cryptic. "Someone from our past. Someone we thought we'd left behind."

Arya's heart skipped a beat as Shivay's words hinted at a long-buried secret. "What are you talking about, Shivay?"

Shivay's eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "Our past, Arya. Our true past. We're not who we think we are."

Arya's world began to spin. What did Shivay mean? What secrets had he kept from her?

Arya's mind raced with questions, but before she could press Shivay for answers, a commotion erupted outside the hideout. Gunfire and shouts filled the air, and Arya instinctively reached for her weapon.

"What's happening?" Shivay grimaced, struggling to stand.

"Unknown, but we need to get out of here, now!" Arya replied, helping Shivay up.

As they made a hasty exit, Arya's training kicked in. She took point, scanning their surroundings, while Shivay limped behind her.

They burst into a nearby alley, only to find themselves face to face with a group of heavily armed men. Arya recognized the insignia on their uniforms - the mark of the Red Vipers, a ruthless mercenary group thought to be long disbanded.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here," the leader sneered, his eyes fixed on Arya. "The Cards Queen and the Black Cap Head. What a lovely reunion."

Arya's grip on her gun tightened. "You're a long way from home, Red Vipers. What do you want?"

The leader smiled, his eyes glinting with malice. "We've come for Shivay. He has something that belongs to us."

Shivay's eyes locked onto Arya, a silent message passing between them. Arya knew that she would fight to the death to protect him.
