"Really, darlings," Luna's melodic tones drifted through the wood, tinged with amusement and a hint of impatience. "Is this any way to greet an old friend?"
For a moment, no one moved. The sudden appearance of the very person they had been trying to reach seemed too convenient, too coincidental to be believed.
Marcus was the first to break the stunned silence. "Luna?" he called out, his voice a mix of relief and suspicion. "How did you find us?"
A light, tinkling laugh answered him. "Oh, Marcus. Did you really think I wouldn't be able to track my own Skystone? Now, are you going to leave an old woman standing out in the cold, or are you going to invite me in?"
Kai growled low in his throat, his eyes flashing gold. "We should be careful," he muttered. "This could be a trap."
