The ceiling arched high above them, its surface painted with celestial patterns that seemed to move and shimmer with their own light. The floor was a polished marble that reflected the faint, silvery glow of the runes lining the walls. At the very center of the hall stood a massive stone altar, encircled by intricate glyphs that pulsed with ancient magic. This was the heart of the Sanctuary—the place where the Veil Rebirth ritual would take place.
Kirin, his breath still heavy from the recent battle, stepped forward and examined the altar. "This is it. This is where we will perform the ritual to restore the Veil."
Seraphina was already moving, scouting the perimeter of the hall, her keen eyes searching for any hidden dangers. "The Weavers won't give us much time. They know what we're about to do, and they'll come at us with everything they have."
