Izuku Midoriya was having a bad day, no a bad life. As he was walking to his home after the torture that is called school, he thought about his life so far. 'For the past 6 years people has been treating him as an animal and not a human being. Why? Because he didn't have a stupid power called quirk, for the people in his life it seems that not having a stupid useless power is somehow a crime worthy of punishment. His first and only friend- no former friend Kacchan, his neighbors', his school teachers and his classmates all treat him like scum for wanting to become a hero without a quirk. The irony that the majority of his abusive classmates has quirks that is absolutely useless for hero work or anything is not lost on him. Sometimes he felt that the entire world is against him and his wish to be a hero like All Might who was his inspiration since he has not seen his father in his life. His another inspiration was his friend Kacchan but after today even he couldn't accept Kacchan's abuse anymore as anything other than villainous. To suicide bait a classmate is nothing short of villainism'.
As Izuku walked thinking, he came to an underground pass and starts crossing it. There was a nasty smell coming from the man hole in front of him, but Izuku was in his own thoughts and didn't care about it. As Izuku reached the man hole suddenly it was thrown up and hit Izuku's head and he flew backwards.
A slime monster came through the hole and looked for a human body to hide in and escape his pursuer. Slime monster saw Izuku crawling away from him and saw the perfect target. As Izuku was crawling away dazedly from the monster he prayed for his life. Suddenly the Slime Villain was on him and Izuku struggled to no avail. Izuku took a deep breathe just before the Slime crawled to his mouth and lungs. Pain unlike anything crawled through Izuku's lungs, but he held on for consciousness and to fight for his life.
There was a whistling coming through the open man hole and a gigantic muscular hand came through it first followed by a gigantic figure in yellow.
"HAHAHA, Fear not, child, Why? I AM HERE!!" All Might exclaimed and punched the air.
Izuku lost consciousness seeing All Might as he was already breathless. The Slime villain was blasted apart from Izuku and splashed throughout the surrounding walls, from where All Might collected every drop in a glass bottle he had with him.
All Might looked frightened at Izuku's fainted body and thought the worst that he was dead. All Might approached Izuku and checked the pulse and thankfully felt the normal pulse. All Might passed a sigh as he was sure that the gap between the Villain escaping through the manhole and him coming through is more than 4 minutes and enough time to kill a small skinny 10 year old. All Might deduced that fortunately for the child, he had taken a breath just before Slime Villain try to enter his lungs. As picking up the bag of the kid for looking into identification card or something for contacting his parents All might came upon a note book title 'Hero Analysis for future No. 10 'intrigued he speed read through the entire book. He signed a free page and contacted the boys mother.
All Might shook Izuku awake after checking for any other injuries.
"Impressive observations, Young man, need to have some more work, but easily remedied if you have guidance or with difficulty if you yourself work towards it. Alas I am not that person for it"
Izuku was completely frozen due to surprise at seeing All Might and after hearing his praise toward a quirkless hero wannabe like him.
"Sir, Al.. All.. All M..might, I am your biggest fan and I need an autograph" Izuku exclaimed quickly.
"I have already signed; child and I have called your mother to come here and pick you up. I can't reasonably let you leave home alone as the Slime was in your lungs and there may be residue which may need treatment. Anyway, wait here for your mother. I have to go now. No time to waste" All Might said hurriedly and started walking towards the exit.
Izuku was surprised by the sudden exit and shouted " All Might, please wait, I have a qu..."
"No time, young man, bye" All Might said over Izuku without turning back.
Izuku started running towards All Might and just as he reached the exit All Might jumped and Izuku also jumped and caught All Might's leg.Startled All Might looked back and saw Izuku holding on for his dear life. Now annoyed and afraid for the child's life, All Might landed on a rooftop of a high building.
"That was extremely foolish young man and dangerous. Never repeat it. Even for me this level of fanaticism is not good." All Might said and walked towards the edge
Izuku was sad hearing the scolding and shouted "please, All Might, answer my one question, CAN I BE A HERO LIKE YOU? CAN I BE A HERO EVENTHOUGH I AM QUIRKLESS?"
All Might suddenly stopped hearing that turned to see Izuku on his knees and bowing and crying his heart out. Suddenly steam started to pour out of All Might and he lost quarter of his size.
Startled Izuku raised to see what caused the steam and saw a All Might with shrunken face, without his trademark grin or hair style and shrunken as he has fasted for months.
"Young Man, this is my true form. Do not post it on internet or anything."
"of course not, All Might, your secret is safe with me. What happened?"
"You asked me whether you can be a hero? This is the answer young man." All Might said as he lifted his shirt to show his non existing stomach and scars that no man would have survived without the advent of quirk healing and modern technology.
"2 years ago, there was fight with the absolute worst villain and this is the result. Currently the quirks are getting stronger, every new hero has a strong quirk. Similarly, villains also show strong power. Even with my power I have to suffer pain and injury. This career is dangerous and for to tackle it without no power of your own to backup in fight is very bad for your life and loved ones. So, the answer is NO. The media doesn't show the blood and gory details. You are only ten and a young child, without the knowledge to know the deep details of the various professions. If you want to be a hero there is the job of fire fighters and police officers. Even before quirks they were the normal people's hero and even now, they are heroes for people who are not fooled by the glamorous Pro Hero life shown by media. I advice you to look into it and choose wisely. Of course, I am not all knowing, as you can already see the effect of not knowing something, this is my honest opinion." All Might finished seriously and walked out to take stairs for exiting the building.
Izuku was devastated and heartbroken. The number one hero himself said no and destroyed his dream. Everything came to his mind at a rush.

'Take a swan dive of the roof and wish for a quirk in next life'
Unknowingly he was at the end of the rooftop and looking down at the traffic and ant like people walking in ground. He was about to jump when the face of his mother came to his mind.
'No, I cannot repay my mom's kindness and love for me with my death. She sacrificed her marriage, life and works twice as much for make ends meet for me. I have to take care of her' Izuku thought to himself and walked away.
Little while ago.
Tom, a homeless man was having a stolen smoke in leisure while sitting in an alley and thinking how bad his life is. 'A quirk so weak that it as well not exists. No job. No money. Nothing. At least I have this alley to myself and not share it with smelly Rodrick now'.
Suddenly a glass bottle fell in front of him from above and only a life of street thug and crime saved him from pierced glass to face or worse the absolute nasty smelling shit to face. Cursing to heavens and the one to throw it,Tom got up and ran away from the smell. Minutes later the black goop started moving and joining each other.
Inko was worried, as she was walking as fast as possible to reach the under bridge the hero mentioned Izuku was. The only respite she had was the confirmation that Izuku was safe. As she passed a building a homeless man was ogling her and spat a mouthful of foul-smelling cigarette smoke at her face. Inko didn't respond and started walking even faster. Inko couldn't believe that the thug has the guts to trouble her like that when the heroes and media and police were in the opposite side of the street after defeating a villain and trying to stop a fire from spreading. As she was passing the opening of the alley from where the thug came from, a slime monster emerged and grasped her leg. Seeing the villain, she screamed so loud that the glass almost cracked in the entire street. Startled the heroes, media and police turned and saw a monster enveloping a helpless woman.
Izuku was walking down the streets to his home when he heard a surprising scream in the air. The sound was familiar and Izuku ran forward to see what was happening. Izuku saw a crowd in semi circular watching a moving and crashing black goop. Familiar black goop. The Slime Villain. The villain was trying to kill the hostage and takeover the body of a woman. Izuku was devastated as he came to the conclusion that the bottle must have fell out of All Might's pockets when he jumped and caught his pants.
Izuku ran to the front to see the hero Death Arms standing stoically and watching, Kamui Woods controlling the crowd and Backdraft still trying to put down the fire in front of the camera even though it had stopped spreading.Izuku saw the women struggling and loose stones and items hitting the black body with some force. It was at that moment Izuku saw the eyes of the women and understood that she was his mother.
"MOMM" Izuku shouted and ran towards the black sludge avoiding the barricade by Kamui Woods to rescue his mother. Izuku knew only solid point was eyes and threw his bag at the monster's eye.
In another universe, seeing a 14-year-old boy running towards a villain and danger to play a hero, the hero Death Arms will not move and scoff internally at the foolishness and watch on. The boy may have reached the monster itself, saved the hostage himself and inspire Yagi Toshinori himself to be All Might and bulk up to finish the job. But alas, this was not that universe.
At that moment, seeing a ten-year-old son of the hostage running toward a monster, Death Arms moved and caught Izuku to save the little boy from assured death.
The hostage was not rescued by Izuku. Yagi Toshinori,watching from the crowd was not inspired by anything and was deep in depression due to his injury and ever reducing time limit. Yagi Toshinori only cursed himself and his vanquished foe for the scene in front of him. Yagi only felt pity towards the young powerless child trying to fight a monster and self hatred towards himself for his limitations.
Izuku tried to leave the arms of the heroes who waited for rightful quirk and save his mother. He screamed and shook himself to leave the arms but he was overpowered.
Izuku turning to the heroes and shouted "Kamui Woods, use your wood to pierce the villains' eyes, it's solid, Backdraft use your power to hose down the slime it's liquid everywhere else. Please save my mom."
Everyone including the media and heroes were surprised by the suggestion from a 10-year-old.
"I can't kill the villain and piercing eye seems a legit way to do it" Kamui Woods said.
"The fire will spread" said Backdraft and the slight fear is heard in the voice.
Death Arms was livid and shouted "shut up, you stupid boy, first you run up to a villain and endanger everyone in a hostage situation and now commands the heroes on scene when you know nothing of the villain and how powers work."
Izuku saw red.
"it's not a hostage situation, you pathetic failure of a hero, the damn slime is fucking trying to kill my mom by drowning her in slime and take over her body you idiot. I know it because I was its first victim and almost died before All Might showed up and saved me. He must have escaped the glass bottle All might put him after splattering it with a punch."
The heroes, media, public and everyone watching online starred at disbelief at the boy. 'A villain escaping All Might-impossible.'
Death Arms ignored the boys shouting and watched the villain situation and tried to talk to the villain. The villain is distracted by the quirk of the victim and thrown bag of the boy and this allowed Inko to stay alive.
The Villain was angry as ever by the pain in his eye and started pressing harder and the victims struggle was slowing.
Seeing this Izuku shouted at his mother and raised his hands to reach her, to save her. His legs were constantly trying to move, but he was in the air held up by DeathArms.
At that moment Izuku wished for a quirk or any power to reach his mother. He wished for attraction with every fabric of his soul so he can summon his mother and save her.
Izuku saw through his tear-filled eyes as his mother drowned in front of him. As the liquid slime moved and pressed a gap occurred in it and for seconds Izuku's eye met his mother's eyes. The same eye's he sees every morning when he wakes up and before falling asleep every night.
The eyes still express the kindness and love for him. The same kindness and love Izuku's eyes had for the world.
The eyes still had a Light...
Izuku stopped struggling looked at the eyes and understood the silent message in it. "Izuku, I love you and live. Live happily".
Then, the light starts fading...
The struggling stops.
"NOOOOOO...." A scream of immense pain and sadness that broke the hearts of everyone in the public was heard.
As the light flickered and died in the eyes of his mother something broke inside him. The light in his eyes, showing love and kindness to the world that kept burning even after years of abuse, suicide baiting, punishments and even his hero's scorn, died.
As the light left a void began forming in his heart. Izuku's entire body started burning up as a power rose. His outstretched arms that were trying to attract his mother trembled as a green light from his mother flew so fastly that no one else sees it and entered his arms. It travelled through his veins towards the void in his heart.
The next moment the black goop started shaking and the body of Inko Midoriya flew through the liquid like a rocket towards the outstretched hands of Izuku. Seeing this Death Arms dropped Izuku and went after the villain.
Izuku caught his mother's body with surprising strength and put down in gentle manner and closed the eyes without the light.
And he started crying…
