On a cold, fateful evening, a married couple was having a dinner, "Gus, I don't know anymore, you wanted a family but I couldn't even give you a child" the woman said full of sorrows. "Ellie, why are you even asking that? You know that I married you because I love you" said Gus said in a gentle and lovingly manner. As the two were talking, they suddenly hear some knocking and followed after that was a baby's cry in front of their house. They hurriedly went to the door and opened it, to their surprise, they saw a baby in a basket crying because of the cold.
They brought the basket and the baby inside their house, but as Gus went to pick up the baby, he noticed a letter beside the baby with a necklace inside of it saying "Can I entrust my son to the both of you?, I know that it is a surprise for the both of you when suddenly a stranger is asking to entrust his child to you, I have been observing you both for sometime before making the decision to leave my son to both of you, so please take care of my son, Thank you, As for the necklace inside this letter, please give it to him when he turns 14, that's all. I will repay you genuinely when the time comes."
As Gus and Ellie went into their room with the baby sleeping peacefully in Ellie's arms, "Gus, we have a child now" Ellie's face was smiling while tears of joy are streaming down on her lovely face as she said this to her husband. "His name will be Asher, Asher Ingram"
7 years later
A boy can be seen training with a dummy made out of bamboo and ropes. "Asher! Let's eat, It's time for lunch" a woman shouted gently, calling for the boy to eat. When the boy got inside the house, a deep and husky sounded "Asher, wash your hands, before you touch anything in the kitchen", "Okay!, Dad" Asher said with a smile.
"Gus, see what you have done to our child! He is always training, training, and training. It's the only thing that he does after school" the woman said to her husband begrudgingly. Gus with a sweat in his forehead "Ellie, just calm down okay? I just told him a story about the history of our world and the WarSouls. It was his decision to train and be like the Seven War Gods who fought for the humanity." Gus said while scratching his back of the head.
Asher was 8 months year old when he learned to walk, 1 and half years when he learned how to talk, 2 years old when he learned how to read and write.
That was when Gus and Ellie noticed his genius prowess and when Asher was 4 years old, Gus took the initiative to tell the history of the Blue Planet to Asher.
Asher was fiddling with a puzzle when he heard his dad call him "Asher, come here, I want to tell you something" Asher went to Gus while saying "What is it father?"
"Do you want to know the history of our world?" Gus asked gently with a smile on his face "Yes! Yes!, Tell me! Tell me!" Asher responded gleefully revealing his overly curious nature
Gus began to tell the history of the world with enthusiasm as Asher joyfully listens "Three hundred years ago, the Blue Planet faced a cataclysmic event known as 'The Emergence.' Countless rifts tore through the fabric of space, releasing monstrous beasts of every shape and size upon an unsuspecting world. In the chaos, animals mutated into fearsome creatures, and humanity found itself woefully unprepared. Only 20% of the population survived this initial onslaught.
Amidst the devastation, a beacon of hope emerged: the first Awakeners. These extraordinary individuals discovered within themselves a latent power triggered by a mysterious energy that pervaded the planet. This energy, known as War Energy, was essential in awakening a core within them called the War Spark. The War Spark acted as a reservoir, housing the essence of their WarSoul—a colossal, armored entity that was not merely a machine but an extension of the Awakeners' own strength and willpower.
The War Energy phenomenon awakened these latent powers within certain humans. Those capable of harnessing War Energy and awakening their War Spark could summon and merge with their WarSouls. Each WarSoul, reflecting the abilities and spirit of its Awakener, was unique in its form and capabilities.
As the centuries passed, the knowledge and mastery of War Energy and the War Spark grew. New generations of Awakeners trained rigorously, honing their abilities to control their WarSouls and protect the remnants of civilization. The fight for survival forged strong communities, driven by a shared determination to rebuild and reclaim their world.
Today, the legacy of the first Awakeners lives on. The WarSouls stand as towering symbols of resilience and hope, their pilots ready to face any threat that emerges from the rifts. Humanity, though scarred, remains unyielding, ever vigilant against the unknown horrors that lie beyond the rifts."
Asher clearly amazed by the story his dad told him stood up on his bed with glee and vigor that is visible in his eyes and strongly shouted with both his arms up high "Hissss! WarSoul!! Dad! I want to be a strong Awakener and kill all those beasts like the Seven War Gods! Hehe!" "Dad! I want to awaken my WarSoul now!" Asher added enthusiastically.
"Okay, Okay, calm down there boy, you're just 4 years old now, you need to wait, as you can only awaken your WarSoul by the age of 14 when your High School Starts."
Gus said to his son to calm him down
"But that will take too long! Ugh!" Asher complained "Alright! But I want to train! Train even before I awaken! Hehe"
"Haha! Sure! I will train you to become the strongest" Gus happily agreed to Asher's request. "Yay! Haha! Let's go Train, train, train~, Let's become the strongest~" Asher went out of his room while singing happily clearly happy about the training.
Gus was beaming with pride and joy seeing his son eager to train and become strong walking proudly when a thought suddenly struck him that sent chills within his spine and his forehead became sweaty "Ellie's gonna kill me" he thought nervously. Gus then went through the kitchen carefully as he saw his wife Ellie, busily preparing food for dinner when he heard a chilling voice behind him "Gus, care to tell me why, my son who is a cute little boy that is only 4 years old suddenly sings about training hard and becoming strong on his way out of the house?" When Gus turned around, he saw Ellie, who was holding a knife come up to him with scary expression "Eek! Uh Ellie, its not me, n-n-not my fault, I-I- I only told him about the history, and about, y-you know, WarSouls, and th-the s-Seven War Gods, hehe" Gus nervously explained to Ellie "He's the one who chose to train and asked me to train him" Gus added while scratching his head with nervousness and then hurriedly run outside to escape from his wife's barrage of words and beating.
Present - 7-year-old Asher
Asher, Gus, and Ellie was talking to each other while eating dinner as Gus asked Asher about his training "Asher, how was your progress on the Fist Technique I taught you?" "Dad! I think I reached Initial Mastery earlier" Asher answered proudly to Gus while waiting for his dad's shocked reaction but he was quickly disappointed as Gus did not seem to be surprised about his progress given that he accomplished that much within just 2 weeks of studying and training the Fist Technique "Haha! You have to do it better than that to surprise me kid!" Gus laughed at his son's reaction. But contrary to his actions, Gus was surprised to his core as he thought 'This damned son, he is very much a monster. It took me 2 months to just master that technique to its Initial Mastery Level, and they regarded me as once in a lifetime genius, while reached Initial Mastery in only 2 weeks!'
"Tomorrow, after school, I'm gonna check your progress in combat" Gus said to Asher while smiling only to be smacked straight in the back of his head by Ellie as she says angrily "That is all the two of you know! Train! Spar! Eat! Sleep! When will the two of you grow up, especially you, Gus"
"Owww! Ellie, I was just gonna check his progress if its true!" Gus explained but met with an angry glare from Ellie.
After school, In the backyard of their home, the evening sun cast long shadows as Asher and Gus prepared for their sparring session. The air was crisp, filled with the scent of blooming flowers, a perfect backdrop for training.
Gus assumed a relaxed stance, watching his son with a discerning eye. "Remember, Asher, focus on your form. Precision over power."
Asher nodded, his expression serious yet eager. He took a deep breath, centering himself. They stared at each other for some time and focused on each other's minute movements.
And suddenly, with a swift movement, Asher launched a series of kicks and punches, each strike precise and controlled. Gus deflected them effortlessly, testing Asher's agility. "Good, but keep your guard up!" he advised, blocking a punch and countering with a quick left kick.
Asher dodged, a determined glint in his eye. He remembered the fist technique his father had taught him, the flow of energy through each movement. Channeling that knowledge, he pivoted on his heel, delivering a powerful blow aimed at Gus's midsection.
Gus smiled, impressed. "Excellent! You're mastering the form. Now, let's see your defense." He increased the pace, his attacks coming faster, testing Asher's reflexes.
Asher with his innate fast reflexes, adapted quickly, his body moving instinctively, blocking and countering with grace. Sweat dripped down his brow, but he didn't falter. Each strike, each block, was a testament to the hours spent honing his skills under his father's guidance.
After several exchanges, Gus stepped back, signaling a pause. "You've come a long way, Asher. Your mastery of the technique is impressive."
Asher grinned, breathing heavily but filled with pride. "Thanks, Dad. I owe it all to your training."
Gus clapped a hand on his son's shoulder, pride evident in his eyes. "You've got talent, Asher. Keep pushing, and you'll be unstoppable."
Asher nodded, determination burning brighter than ever. "I will, Dad. I won't let you down."
