I woke up from a peaceful slumber once again. This time I convinced myself it was a dream, I headed straight to the police station running down the stairs, grabbing my mom's keys and leaving.
I didn't try to be the hero. Humans are cruel and heartless they refuse to understand. I will be the only human to understand. Some kids my age think everything is sunshine and rainbows still.
They would still try to be a hero in my situation. No, they would more likely try and take sides with the monster because humans are selfish and naive and only want to save themselves.
People annoy me, that's why I have to do the right thing. I have to focus on myself instead of those selfish monsters. I had to move on leaving my old sunshine and rainbow life behind.
I turned the car around pointing the opposite direction of the police. So, what if I were in the wrong here, i didn't care. I don't have to sacrifice myself for those selfish humans. I don't consider them people anymore, if they expected to be saved, they would have done something. I grabbed my mother's sunglasses because the sun was in my face. "I have to fend for myself, I can't rely on others anymore." I needed a weapon or something.
I remembered my brother's baseball bat was in the trunk. So, I continued driving to the next town.
