Once the book was finished glowing Casey opened it up. He started flipping through the pages and quickly realized that except for the first page all the other pages were blank.
Cassy read the first page and saw it was a meditation technique and a set of exercises. He couldn't help but groan, he absolutely hates exercising.
Thinking back to Sunnys Diary and now this book Casey guessed that something was going to happen to earth and it wasn't going to be good. He knew he had to start preparing early. He didn't if it was gonna apocalyptic or something just as crazy so he wanted to start fixing up the house to be apocalypse proof essentially.
Casey thought back to Kevin and Grace. He knew he should tell them something. He was worried that they wouldn't believe him. Then he thought about it again. Regardless if they believed him or not he should tell them, at least they were warned.
Casey got his phone and sent a text to Kevin and Grace about Sunnys Diary and warned them to at least reinforce their house.
Once he was done Casey spent the rest of the week finding Contractors to reinforce the house and build secret escape rooms and routes. He also finalized the date of Sunnys memorial service.
During the week Casey also started doing the exercises and meditation that was on the book and after a few days he noticed a difference. He felt so much lighter and wouldn't get as tired as he used to anymore. Yesterday he checked the book and noticed the exercises plan changed. It becomes much harder while the mediation technique stayed the same.
It weirded him out a little at first but he just followed what ever the book wrote and made a mental note to check the book everyday. Cause in his mind the words could've changed earlier but because he never checked he didn't know. Better safe than sorry.
Casey looked at the time and saw it was 8am. It was time to do the exercises. He usually do the exercises forst then the medication. After all that physical hard work he knew he would just laze around right after so he decided instead of lazing around why not just do the mediation.
Around 10am he finished with everything and went to go make himself some food. After Sunny died he decided to make his own food for now. He bought foid and snacks in bulk. Since he got Sunnys inheritance he was a millionaire now and he didn't have to worry about the money going down because of all the companys Sunny had invested in. All her stocks became his, so he had a good amount of money flowing in.
Casey ate and got ready. He was holding Sunny memorial service today at 12pm. He had then burry her in the forest where she picked him up,but the memorial service was going to be held at Grace's church. It's going to be a closed casket as her body was already buried.
Casey got in his car and drove out. In a few minutes he made it to the church. Luckily the church was near by or he would've been late.
He was one of the last person to come. Kevin and Grace were already there chatting with Sunnys old colleagues.
A few minutes passed by before the memorial service started. The memorial services didn't last long. In just 2 hours everyone was done with there speeches.
Casey met up with Grace and Kevin and had dinner with them that night.
"Hey Casey, you know no matter what happens I'll always be by your side right" Kevin said abruptly.
"Of course, I know. You should also know that I'll always be by your side too! You're my best friend." Casey replied with a smile.
Just by looking at his smile you wouldn't have known that just a few hours ago was Sunnys memorial service.
Kevin looked at Casey hesitantly. "I didn't want to tell you this today but, it looks like it might be my last time seeing you so I'll just say it. My dad found me and my mom and I have to go back to inherit his company. I don't know how long it'll take. I know that you warned us about a potential disaster so I'll try but you know."
Casey nodded and said his goodbyes. He walked towards his car thinking of the future. He didn't know what was to come but he knew he'd be at least somewhat prepared.
