"Stop talking to Sarah then, stay away from her, if possible, then cut her out." Harlan said coldly and firmly.
Adrian did not reply immediately he was shocked and froze at his place when he heard that, he slowly said, "what?"
Harlan smirked and said, "you heard that, I said what I said, if you can do that, I will trust you again but if you said no, then forget it, never come to me again with fake promises."
Adrian clenched his fists and Harlan spoke, "Why is it so hard for you huh? Is it because she has money that you don't want to let go of her; you won't be able to seek anymore benefits from her or do you love her. I guess she is more important."
Adrian heard everything that Harlan was saying, and said, "it's not like that, she is my good friend."
"I know and I am nothing, just a person who got taken advantage by you, a person who lost his kidney because of you. That day when my father forcefully took me away you heard what we were talking about right? You heard what they wanted right? Well, they got it thanks to you. I lost something precious and you can't even do this for me."
Adrian looked down, unable to see look at Harlan, "Harlan please..." he glanced at Harlan and saw that he was not bothered at all, Harlan was firm in his stance.
"It's your last chance Adrian. You have a chance to revive our friendship."
Adrian closed his eyes and took a deep breath and said, "alright." He said in a slow voice it almost came out like a whisper.
"What? I didn't hear you, say it loudly."
"Alright, Harlan." Adrian finally looked up at Harlan and said, "I will cut her off."
Harlan finally smiled as he kept his hand over Adrian's shoulders and said, "perfect. I guess you were really sincere about winning my trust back. Now to prove that you were being honest about you block her number and then delete it in front of me?"
Adrian looked at him and slowly took out his phone before he did what Harlan said which made the latter rather happy, "you look sad, here. Let me hug you, to make you feel better." He said as he gently moved forward and wrapped his arms around and hugged him.
Adrian didn't waste any time to hug him back, he was quick to wrap his arms around Harlan and hug him tightly, not wanting to let go of him, he wanted to keep on holding onto Harlan, only he knew that just how much he had longed for this hug, this warmth and this moment and he didn't want this moment to end, he closed his wet eyes and sighed.
Harlan on the other was not smiling anymore, he had no idea that just what the fuck he was doing and why he did what he just did, that was so pathetic! Just why was he acting like a child!
Once they broke the hug Harlan spoke, "Don't be sad, I can help you to take care of Hayden, if you don't mind then can I come to meet him sometimes?"
"Sure."
"Great."

A few days passed just like that, Adrian had blocked Sarah's number and he no longer talked to her, he felt guilty and sad but by doing so he was able to get Harlan back.
Harlan was now less frustrated with him, Harlan talked to him, smiled at him and they even had lunch and dinners together.
Harlan sometimes even dropped him at him, it was like he and Harlan were friends again, what else could he ask for?
Harlan often told him about how Zestify Dynamics were causing trouble for him and that Sarah hates him because of his dead brother Zane.
Harlan never told him much about his brother or his life and the issue with his parents and when Adrian tried to ask, Harlan just changed the topic and Adrian did not ask him.
Most of the topics that they talked about were light and just random stuffs. They didn't talk about heavy problems or family issues yet, as it was not the time.
Adrian was happy to in Harlan's company.
Harlan also sometimes asked about his sister and Adrian did not talk much Yuki as he was not that comfortable in talking about her in detail.

"Sir, your reports have come." Christian said as he gave the folder to Harlan who immediately took it and then looked at Christian, "have you read these?"
"No."
"Good. You may leave." Harlan said and once Christian was gone, he quickly opened the envelop and went through the documents, as after he finished reading the papers he kept the papers down and held his head in his hand as he sighed.
On the paper it read,
'The probability of paternity is 98.99999 percent.'
