A knock on the door made Harlan anxious for a second, but then he heard Aiden's voice: "Harlan it's me." Aiden said.
Harlan sighed as he opened the door for Aiden, but when he saw Aiden's bruised face his heart sank, Aiden cried as he hugged Harlan tightly.
Harlan closed the door and hugged him back. Aiden burst into tears as he cried and cried and cried in Harlan's arms, while the latter patted his back and tried to calm him down.
Aiden started to hiccup by the time he stopped crying. Harlan gave him some water and said, "We need some medicine; this is bad."
"I am fine."
"Aiden, the cut on your head looks deep."
"I am fine." Aiden said as he took a deep breath and then said, "Harlan, when is the flight?"
"At night."
Aiden cried as he said, "Harlan, what if I tell you to give all your money to me and not go, please I..."
"No," Harlan said, right now he was scared for his life, he was scared that his parents might kill him, he didn't want to go to the hospital, he didn't want his kidney to be taken, and God knows what else they would take.
At this rate, Harlan might die; he does not want to go through the pain of losing an organ. He has done his research and it showed that donating an organ was not easy; he might have complications.
His body might suffer; he might become weak; he might have high blood pressure; or what if his other kidney failed?
And this won't just end here tomorrow they might ask to donate his eyes, liver heart, and God knows what else.
"Aiden." Harlan looked at Aiden and said, "I can't risk this; I am going to run, and that's it. This is my money and I am not giving it to anyone."
Aiden closed his mouth and nodded. "I see." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He started to pretend that everything was fine, as he just hadn't witnessed something brutal.
"Okay. By the way, I brought cold drinks for us." Aiden said as he gave one to Harlan and one was for him.
Harlan smiled, and he took the bottle without suspecting anything and drank. "Gosh, I needed this." Aiden smiled as he drank from his bottle as well.
Harlan finished his bottle, while Aiden kept his bottle to the side.
"So, are you coming with me?" Harlan asked, and Aiden just smiled as tears leaked from his eyes.
Harlan suddenly started to feel dizzy. He grabbed his head as he looked at Harlan, who sobbed, "I am sorry."
"What did you do?" Harlan suddenly lost all strength in his body, and while Aiden stood up, he said, "I am really sorry, please Harlan forgive me, but I have to save her."
Aiden said as he grabbed Harlan's pouch. Harlan realized what was going on, and he jumped at Aiden. he held his hand as he cried. Since Harlan's body was weak, he was on his knees as he begged, "No, Aiden, no, please, don't do this, please, don't!"
Aiden cried as well: "I am sorry, but I have no other choice!"
He said as he moved back and Harlan collapsed on the bed floor, struggling to get up, "No, please, no! Please! Aiden please."

When Harlan woke up next time, it was late at night, his head felt heavy. He immediately got up and looked at the time.
Once he saw the time, he screamed as he threw his phone away and cried, he had missed the flight, he then looked around and searched for his pouch but it was nowhere to be seen, his money his tickets and most importantly, his ring!
Suddenly he heard the door gently open and someone came in, when Harlan saw that it was Aiden he became feral and jumped at him, he grabbed his collar and shoved him against the wall.
Aiden groaned, because of the impact, he had a few fractured ribs, a deep cut on the head, and numerous other injuries but Harlan ignored all of that.
"Bastard! Fucker thief! What did you do with the money?" Harlan yelled, "What did you do with the ring?!" Aiden cried as he said, "I am sorry, I am so sorry."
"WHERE THE HELL IS MY DAMN RING!"
"I sold it," Aiden said in his low voice.
Harlan stumbled back when he heard that, "how can you do that!"
"I am so sorry, I had no other option, there was nothing else I could do!"
Harlan screamed at the top of his lungs but suddenly the door opened and a few people barged inside the room.
Harlan's eyes widened when he saw his father and mother over there.
"Where the hell have you been!" his father yelled.
Harlan stood up as well, "I am not going back with you! I am not giving that bastard my kidney!"
"How can you be so cruel he is your brother he might die."
"Then let him die! I hope he dies! I hope he fucking vanishes! His existence is a curse, I hate him so, so, so much! Why was he ever born."
"Shut up!"
"No, I won't! And I am not coming back with you! I am your son too! What if I die!"
"You won't die by donating a kidney!"
"What if my other kidney failed!" Harlan yelled, "I am not coming back, I am not!" he said as he pushed his father aside and tried to run out of the motel, the people ran after them and Aiden rushed out too.
Harlan came near the stairs and the bodyguard from behind him pushed him a little which made him stumble and he fell from the stairs.
"ARGH!" he screamed in agony as he held his leg, while his father and the other caught him.
"Put him in the car!" his father ordered and soon was taken away from there, while they were putting him in the car, Harlan's eyes opened and he caught a glimpse of Aiden, who was horrified by what he saw.
