[Life Gate Dungeon - 8th floor]
When Heizen just appeared outside the temporary Dungeon-Shadowed Altar, the green dragon Gadrakh suddenly woke up from his sleep. His huge head and wise eyes tried to peer through the dimensions to find someone.
"Hm? The aura disappeared. Did he die, or?" He curiously thought then didn't care after not finding anything.
His majestic body lazily leaned towards the ground and he returned to deep slumber as if everything that happened was none of his concern.

Heizen dragged the dead bodies far from the catacomb inside the forest. He didn't destroy the corpses because he wanted to check his new skill "Shadow Resurrection."
After he was fairly far, he began to check his surroundings with the divine sense. The skills related to the Authority shouldn't be exposed to anyone. It was a trump card as well as a time bomb.
After finding no one, he first came near the body of the Balor and began to perform Shadow Resurrection. Unlike spells, he didn't need to chant when using the Authority skills.
He now also knew the reason why Insignia of Goddess abandoned him mercilessly. This is because the use of Authority inside another domain was costly and saving him in that situation wasn't profitable.
In simple words, he was abandoned. Maybe, the Goddess Of Life didn't want to conflict with the Mistress of Shadows for a mortal, who knows?
Heizen placed his hand above the body of Balor when suddenly the skull sigil in his arm began to flash with the black light. After that, as if a butterfly was drawn to the light, black energy began to gather upwards. Finally, it took the shape of a shadow that was similar to Balor.
Unlike the real body, this shadow was incorporeal and there was no movement. Heizen was waiting for "Master" or some kind of worshipping gesture from the shadow, but he was disappointed. It was just a shadow puppet.
Without thinking much, he tried to see the stats.
[Name: Shadow Slave]
[Race: None]
[Level: 16]
[Skill: Berserker rage, Critical Strike]
[Warning: Shadow Slaves share the stats with MC when using skills.]
"Hmm, there is nothing new except the two skills. Moreover, he lost the skill Combat Reflex. So, not everything is inherited." Heizen thought and tried to give the command.
"Swoosh," the Shadow began to perform various drills according to the Heizen's thoughts. Moreover, it can even wield the axe like a real body and use skills.
The only thing that was its weakness was it couldn't autonomously act. It must be within his vision to perform the order effectively. However, due to his divine sense, this weakness had been covered up more or less.
Still, Heizen thought that this was because this Shadow was too low level. Otherwise, System wouldn't warn him that Shadow could disobey his order when powerful enough.
After trying for a while, Heizen was satisfied. So, without delay, he began to use Shadow Resurrection on the remaining bodies. Since he only had 5 slots, he discarded one of the archers.
Once all the shadows resurrected, he felt that his body became sluggish. Since large amounts of soul power had been consumed and his mental power had bottomed out, he was extremely weak.
So, he de-summoned the Shadow into the Umbral Vault with a wave of his hand. The shadows around him quickly drilled into his arm and disappeared.
With these new helpers, he wouldn't be passive in the future fight. Heizen was satisfied and began to return to his companions.
At the gate of the catacombs, Bernard and others had already cleared the traces of battles. When Heizen arrived, they were already resting below a shade inside the forest.
This time they were lucky that nobody saw their killings outside the catacombs. Otherwise, they would be outliers among the Adventures.
Maybe it won't matter to the girls, but for Bernard and Bowen it would be hard to walk around. However, since this situation was because of the grudge between the Seeker Adventurer and the Dawn Adventurer team, Bernard was rather thankful to Heizen. How could he not know that they were targeted?
"Is everything ok?" Sarah asked after seeing Heizen.
"Yeah, don't worry. No traces are left."
"We didn't see anyone around throughout the catacombs. So, nobody should know our fight." Bernard said.
Heizen nodded but didn't care. His divine sense allowed him to scan the area. So, he definitely checked before starting the killing spree. Moreover, since the opponents were trying to kill, he wouldn't let them go even if there was someone around. But it was good that there was no conflict due to this matter.
"Let's divide the spoils. There are lots of things with them."
Heizen smiled and took out multiple mana rings. Their equipment was first class so they earned bloody profit this time.
"No, no. I don't want anything. I didn't help." Sarah quickly denied it. Sophie also showed no sign of acceptance.
Heizen thought for a while and nodded. They did provide no help in the fight. Also, he didn't think they lacked this loot.
Bernard and Bowen were also thinking of rejecting when Heizen took out the armor, bows, and quiver along with other treasures. They quickly swallowed their saliva and didn't object. Good equipment means extra life. They would think of other ways to pay Heizen in the future.
Heizen looked at their expression but didn't point it out. They were his friends and also helped him a lot. Additionally, he didn't need everything from the loot.
"I will accept this axe, this bow and arrows, and this scroll. Remainings will be divided equally. What do you think?"
These were all needed to equip his shadow slave. Shadow couldn't wear armor but use the weapon. As for the scroll, it seemed expensive so naturally he wouldn't be polite. He did save everyone after all.
"Ok." Bernard and Bowen had no objection. They were very grateful for this windfall.
Bernard quickly snatched the Balor's armor while Bowen picked up the bow. Though the remaining items were expensive, there wasn't a single treasure. So, Heizen divided everything equally.
"By the way, don't use those items directly. If possible try to sell them and buy another that you like. Is there any black market in Ravenwood Town?" Heizen asked. After all, these were stolen objects, and it was not appropriate to use them in a flamboyant manner.
