Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Leylin's Anger

Leylin's POV

"Hi, Dipper," I said simply, ignoring his question.

I could see the atmosphere was tense. Dipper slowly pointed his flashlight at me, and I could see Soos approaching slowly of crowbar nearby.

"I've already stated this before," I sighed, seeing their recklessness in the face of the unknown.

"I'm a potential friend, and some often call me the professor, but my name is Leylin... Leylin Blight," I said, looking at them.

"Okay Leylin, I don't know you and I don't know how you know me, but..."

*whistling sounds*

I cut Dipper off with a simple whistle, a capability of bard magic.

It can affect its environment with vibrations in the air by infusing it with magic. Rain could even control the bodies of people listening to his music or objects.

I just whistled to prevent Dipper, or more precisely his tongue, from moving. To put it simply, I shut him up.

"How did you do that?" Mabel mutters, looking between Dipper and me alternately.

"You've already seen a lot of weird things in this town, but magic still surprises you?" I asked, smiling at them.

"Oh, he's so cute... wait a minute, did you say magic?" Mabel mumbles at first before speaking enthusiastically when she understood the meaning of the word "magic".

I know Mabel is used to having a little crush on every decent boy she sees, but if she makes a face like that in front of Willow, it might end badly for her.

I snapped my fingers to give Dipper back his voice.

"Wait wait a minute, you claim to be a magician?" Dipper declares hastily after regaining his speech.

"Not really a magician, but a witch... At least for now," I said, throwing a plant glyph on the ground to grow plants and create a chair.

"Pinch me, I'm dreaming... Ouch!" Soos mumbles, clearly stunned, before crying out in pain after Mabel actually pinched him.

"So magic is... really real," Dipper says quietly.

"Yes, like demons and other astral and dimensional creatures, blah blah," I say, sighing at his predictable reaction.

It seems I overestimated him. Regardless of his skills, the current Dipper is still a child after all.

"If we now talk about the reason for my visit here," I say before whistling to locate Stan in the house and summoning some abominations to bring him here.

"Haa, what's this thing?" Soos shouts, backing away as he grabs a crowbar nearby.

Once my abominations were summoned, they left in a direction I had indicated, ignoring Soos and the others.

"I want an open discussion without secrets with everyone," I explained simply, but my words just confused them more.

Of course, I wouldn't tell them my real secrets.

"Let go of me, you bunch of monsters!" yelled a voice that seemed to be getting closer.

*bam* sounds of the window breaking.

"I knew ordinary abominations would be no match for old Stan," I said, looking at the head of the abomination on the ground next to me.

I knew that in his youth he had to practice boxing because of his father, but I thought he would be rusty enough for these "wastes" to handle him.

"Kids, you need to come with me quickly," Stan declared, rushing into the room.

I could see him now, one of my favorite characters when I watched Gravity Falls on Earth.

He was covered in the mud of the abominations on his suit, and he had two golden brass knuckles on each of his hands. He was glaring at me with furrowed brows.

"I knew those little cheeks couldn't capture you, Mr. Pines," I said, nodding with satisfaction.

"Who are you, kid, and why does everyone seem stressed here?" he said, looking around before putting his eyes back on me.

As expected of a good con man, in a few seconds, he was able to analyze the facial expressions of the people in the room and understand that I was the source of the others' discomfort.

"I'll explain the situation to you quickly," I said, grabbing him using the mud of the abominations on him after drawing a circle in the air.

"Shit, what's going on?" he said, wriggling like a sausage on the ground.

He's tied up by the mud of the abominations he defeated.

"Stay still, knowing you, you might do something stupid, which is why I'm immobilizing you now," I explained calmly.

"No, Uncle Stan, stop right now!" Dipper declares, completely alarmed by my current actions.

"This isn't good, he's clearly dangerous," Dipper thought, observing the person claiming to be a "witch".

"Don't worry Dipper, I won't harm any of you, even if we don't become 'friends'," I say, using telekinesis to snatch that flashlight from him before he does something stupid.

"This object is truly priceless, you should avoid using it only to increase your physical size," I explained, looking at the magic flashlight with satisfaction.

"So what do you want in the end?" Mabel asks in a surprisingly serious tone.

"I want these two journals, but also the portal that Mr. Stan Pines keeps under this place," I say honestly while making two of Ford's journals appear with an illusion.

"Little bastard, if you think I'll let you..."

I just cut Stan off with a whistle.

"What are your intentions towards the journal?" Dipper asks, frowning.

I could see he was currently thinking frantically. Unfortunately for Dipper, no strategy without long planning can beat overwhelming force.

"I want to summon the owner of these two journals into our dimension, I want him to be my subordinate," I explained sincerely.

My words were like a bomb. I could see Stan Pines squirming on the ground and Dipper with his sister seemed to have frozen faces.

Only Soos didn't understand anything and was confused by the others' reactions.

"You want to say something?" I say, deactivating my bard magic on Stan so he can express himself.

"You can bring Ford back?" he says quickly.

"Who's Ford, Uncle Stan, and what does he have to do with the journal owner?" Dipper asks, looking at Stan on the ground.

"And you, kid, how do you know about Ford's journals?" he questions in return.

"It's that, uh..." Dipper began to hesitate to speak and I could see that Mabel was also embarrassed. They must surely be ashamed of hiding their adventures from their uncle.

"You'll discuss later, now give me journals 1 and 3 or I'll have to take them myself," I ordered, deactivating the magic restricting Stan's movements.

I need him to guide me to the basement and have access to Ford's machine.

The moment I deactivated the spell, Stan Pines suddenly threw himself at me and quickly gave me blows to the face.

"Very badly played, Stan," I said as I was still on the ground receiving his blows on my face which, surprisingly for Stan, received no damage.

I stopped his two fists with my hands and crushed them until I heard a slight *crack* sound coming from his bones.

"Run, kids, he wants to control Ford and all the journals!" Stan shouted without caring much about the pain coming from his two broken arms.

"I advise you to cooperate, or the old man won't live long," I say, getting up while holding Stan Pines by the throat with one hand.

Compared to Willow, I'm physically weak, but I'm still a person who has practiced the improved version of the knight's breathing method up to the knight level.

Viscount John Farlier, or Leylin Farlier's father, is a man who practiced the knight's breathing technique at the same level as me. This man could destroy a rock with a sword strike.

He was just at the knight level and he practiced a breathing technique of inferior quality to mine, so an ex-boxer won't be able to hurt me.

"My back touched the ground because of you, Mr. Stan Pines. How do you intend to erase this offense?" I asked as my eyes begin to glow purple due to my unstable emotions that I'm trying to keep under control.

I need to recruit Ford but his brother has exceeded the limit of my patience.
