Going on in class, Jake sat down near the back, where he unpacked his books from his bag. He started studying Alchemistry, trying to cram as much knowledge as possible, for he knew that he would not come to school as often due to exploring ruins (the school provides leave notices, for there is a quota that each mystical practitioner must complete to retain their membership, a sort of contractual obligation).
As he started doing practical experimentation (today being brewing Nightloss), he nearly failed multiple times due to being unnerved constantly. He didn't know from where, but a gaze kept focusing on him, nearly burning through his back.
This unsettling feeling induced feelings of nausea and doom, making him lose focus multiple times. And this time, he nearly blew off his hair, causing him to rush to the nurse's office.
As he was being rushed along with his fellow partner, who incessantly grumbled on about how dumb he was, he felt the gaze again. Just as he was about to lock onto its position, it withdrew again.
Now cautious, he apologized to Mr. Gilde. "Sorry, teach, for the explosions. I don't know what happened." Waving his hands, Gilde just shrugged it off. "No need to worry; we all make mistakes."
Just before he turned back to his class, he nonchalantly informed Jake, "Oh, and one more thing. I won't be able to come as often. I have some... issues to deal with." By then, Jake had already gone to the infirmary and could no longer hear anything.

As he watched the young man being carried off, he smiled, his bright blue eyes filled with anticipation. Soon, my soon. Soon we will be reunited again, and you will be mine forever.
Licking his lips, he turned back, holding back his expressions. Oh, I can't wait to taste your despair.
And I know just how to do it...

Emily watched from her desk at the large pile of books that kept appearing, her eyes furrowed. All she did was stamp, stamp, and stamp, no longer willing to play tricks.
Trixie had a lot of issues running through her mind:
Her cousin Tulli had gone missing.
She first got the notice from her parents, who had asked her where her cousin had gone. They assumed that she must have left school, heading to her house for hanging out. Confused, she informed them that they hadn't met for the past three months, seeing that she had something going on.
Then began the panic. After three days of no contact, they finally informed the authorities, but by then, it was too late.
Her parents, distraught at the loss of their daughter, descended into madness: the father into alcoholism, the mother into insanity. Despairing, Emily buried herself in work, trying her best to forget the painful separation.
As the hour turned dark, she woke up from her work, rubbing her eyes in pain. Packing up, she locked the library door and walked briskly toward the main hallway.
Just as she was about to exit the school, Professor Gilde called out to her. "Ms. Emily, could you please wait for me?" Panting, he bent over on his knees, trying to catch his breath.
Eyes scrunched, she asked hesitantly, "Um, Professor, what... do you want?" Tossing his hair back up, he answered, "Why, none other than to ask you for your help. You see, I have been informed that a new shipment of products has arrived for class, and I need help sorting them out. Would you be willing to help me?"
Relaxing, Emily decided to help him. "Sure. What do I need to do?" Rolling up her sleeves, she followed him to his classroom.

Watching the young lass follow Jim, he smirked in the shadows.
The final ingredient has been caught...
