After leaving the cemetery, Daniel received a call from Patrick, saying that the doctor had approved Zervini's discharge and that she should rest at home. Therefore, Patrick decided that the responsibility of her care would be entrusted to him.
Daniel replied vaguely and turned to look at Zervini, who was silently leaning against the seat. Her lack of words made him a bit worried.
"The doctor said you can go home… Mom has already taken care of the discharge procedures for us…" Daniel spoke softly to Zervini, unsure of how to suggest that she move in with him.
For the first time, he felt at a loss for words, not knowing how to express his thoughts.
"Uh… the doctor said you need to take good care of yourself, and my mom will look after you… so, for now… why don't you stay at my place?" he said nervously, fearing that she would refuse.
