"Hey… you there?" Even in a desperate situation, Mr. Dominic was looking for someone to take the fall with him. He spotted Zervini's back and quickly called out, "Hurry, show Mr. Daniel the way…"
Zervini glanced at the large group of people standing nearby. Were they all just wooden stakes? With a helpless smile, she gestured for them to follow.
Daniel didn't even look at her and walked straight toward the stairs.
After leading him to the room, Zervini stepped back and instructed the server, Hannah, to prepare tea for the guests. Standing back in the lobby, she felt a bit dazed and couldn't settle her mind. Fortunately, her colleague Quinn snapped her out of it as more guests arrived.
"Hello, this way please…"
That night, she went back and forth through the Dragon Hall countless times, and each time, she had to be careful to observe what was happening inside.
