Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

President's Office of Harris Group

"President, here is the information you requested." A gentle man wearing gold-rimmed glasses handed the information bag in his hand to the cold man sitting behind the desk and reviewing documents.

The man paused for a moment, then stopped his work at hand and pulled out the information from the bag. As the information was pulled out, a photo slipped out. The girl in the photo was looking at a certain place, laughing unscrupulously. Daniel pulled up a wicked smile, gently stroked the girl's cheek in the photo with his fingers, and snorted: " Tservini?

The eldest daughter of Henry Sinclair, the chairman of Sinclair Group... What a coincidence."

The gentle man standing aside took a look at the photo in the president's hand and then at the smile on his face, "Isn't this Sinclair Group the company you were going to acquire?"

Daniel looked up at him, "When did I say I was going to acquire it? William, don't talk nonsense..."

William was stunned for a moment, then understood, and a smile appeared on his face: "I understand, sir."

"Get out..." His eyes looked at the photo again, a hint of interest flashed in his eyes, and he picked up the mobile phone on the side and pressed the number on the information.

In the dim room, the person on the bed was sprawled out carelessly, with no sleeping posture at all.

The pleasant ringtone of the mobile phone on the bedside table rang, but the person on the bed was still sleeping like a dead pig. The ringtone didn't mean to stop and kept hitting the eardrums of the person on the bed.

Tservini turned over and grabbed the pillow beside the bed to cover her head. After a three-second pause, the mobile phone rang again.

The small hand under the pillow fumbled frantically and found the long-forgotten and lonely chirping mobile phone in the corner of the bed.

:

She must have gone crazy or been too sleepy and confused. What did she hear? She was not dreaming, was she?

She pinched her thigh hard and nearly screamed. What? Where to meet? She swore that in her entire life, she really didn't want to see that male chauvinist pig again!

What? Hotel? Motel? Damn it. What did he take her for?

"Shut up!" Tservini couldn't help but burst into anger. "I warn you, move my luggage back to the hotel intact. Otherwise, I'll sue you for invading my privacy!!" She roared into the phone.

At the other side, however, came his soft laughter: "Tsk... Miss Tservini, you lost your luggage. I found it for you and informed you to come and pick it up. You don't know how to be grateful. How? Do you want to bite the hand that feeds you?" He argued leisurely and methodically, leaving Tservini speechless for a moment.

She closed her eyes, took deep breaths over and over again, and her fingers tightly held the phone, almost crushing it like that.

"You win..." It was a long time before she managed to calmly utter a sentence, "You tell me, where shall we meet?"

"Oh... Are you sure you want to see me? Are you sure you won't regret seeing me?" His voice was so charming that for a moment she forgot how to retort.

"OK. President's Office of Harris Group, look for Daniel..." After saying that, before she could react, he hung up the phone.

Tservini stared at the phone for a full three minutes. Three minutes later, she couldn't help wailing.

She was actually charmed by his voice and let him lead her by the nose. God, what kind of evil has possessed her?

Not allowing herself any more room for thinking, she quickly got up, washed her face and brushed her teeth, changed into a T-shirt and jeans, grabbed her bag and rushed downstairs.

:

"What friend? Could it be a boyfriend?" Rachel's voice drifted over, and it also timely stopped the footsteps of the father and daughter. " Tservini? You have a boyfriend?" There was a glint in Henry's eyes. "What does he do? Is his family background good? Do his parents own a company?"

Tservini was stunned by Henry's questions. Why would Dad ask these? If she really had a boyfriend, he should first ask if he was good to her. She had been abroad for so many years, and the one she missed the most was Dad. But why has he changed like this? He wasn't like this before.

"Henry, look at her. Can she find a decent one?" Rachel's cold voice cut in. "I think you'd better not count on her to find one herself..." She said something meaningful. Tservini didn't notice. However, she really didn't have a boyfriend. If Vincent hadn't broken up with her, that could be considered.
