As Jasmine walked by with Daniel's arm linked through hers, she spotted Zervini standing there with her head down. Her expression froze for a moment before she broke into a smile. "Zervini, I didn't know you were here! Did Aunt Emma drag you along?" She stepped forward and linked her arm with Zervini's.
"Oh, yes…" Zervini replied with a faint smile.
"By the way, since we haven't seen each other in a while, how about we have dinner together now that it's almost time?" Genevieve suggested. "Zervini, you should join us too; we're not strangers anymore…" Genevieve suddenly turned to her.
Before Zervini could respond, Patrick had already cheerfully agreed.
"Uh… I… I think I won't go…" Zervini interrupted them.
"Oh come on, Zervini, we haven't spent time together in so long! Please, come on…" Jasmine pouted like she used to, trying to persuade her.
Feeling her resolve soften, Zervini finally relented.
