In a past life, Wufu, during her time in the Mercenary Corps, undertook numerous tasks: serving as a bodyguard for nobles and powerful people, stealing classified documents, and even committing murder, among other things. She participated in many assignments that she was qualified for, which was why the amount of money in her personal account was more than she could ever spend.
The recruitment for mercenaries preferred former special forces soldiers, but Wufu wasn't one of them. She started from scratch, coming from a security company, and only after undergoing rigorous training and passing assessments did she become a true mercenary.
As a mercenary, one basically had to disregard life or death, yet in the Mercenary Corps, having a fearless heart wasn't enough.
To be honest, no one truly wishes to die. Since nobody wants to die, they must become stronger. It is only by becoming stronger that one could add layers of protection to their life.
