Xie Zhinuan was skilled in cookery, yet she wasn't picky. If there were good foods to eat, she'd enjoy them, and if not, she would still manage to eat coarse grains or cornbread.
Her own steamed buns, Xiaoyuan's braised meat from the town, had a really nice flavor. A bite of steamed bun with some braised meat, topped with a little chili sauce, was both spicy and savory.
Finishing off with some hot soup, she could quickly fill her belly.
Xie Zhinuan's eating manners couldn't be considered elegant, definitely a bit rougher compared to Li Hengyi. But when compared with other guards gulping down their food, she appeared much more delicate.
Li Hengyi ate a poached egg, glanced at the attending guards, and then at Yuanbao eating like Piggy Zhu, his brows slightly furrowing.
It was truly an embarrassing sight.
