At Ye Xi's home, Ye Xi helped Lu Youheng take off his little socks.
Lu Youheng felt a bit embarrassed and looked down at the top of Ye Xi's head.
Ye Xi's hair was thick and had a natural brown tint.
Lu Youheng's little shoes were already wet, and his socks were even wetter and icy cold, which had turned his little feet red from the cold.
Ye Xi looked up and asked, "Are you cold?"
Lu Youheng nodded his head.
Ye Xi carried the little guy to her own bed and covered him with a quilt. Then she went to the bathroom to wash his little socks clean.
Lu Youheng sat on the bed by himself, taking in his surroundings.
He did not understand why Teacher Ye would live in such a small place, not even as large as his family's living room.
Though it was very small, it looked very cozy, and the scent of Teacher Ye seemed to be everywhere—it was a fragrance he quite liked.
Ye Xi hung his little socks out to dry and prepared some food for him.
