Lu Lingxiao had just stepped out of a meeting when he received a call from Lu Ning.
Xiao Qi followed close behind him, returning to the office.
Just then, Lu Lingxiao could be heard saying, "Mhm, you did well."
Xiao Qi then looked up to make eye contact with Lu Lingxiao, who had returned to his seat.
After ending the call with Lu Ning, Lu Lingxiao leaned back in his chair, deep in thought and seemingly lost in another world.
Xiao Qi took the opportunity to quickly run through the rest of his upcoming schedule.
Midway through, Lu Lingxiao suddenly interrupted him, "Tell me, if a woman doesn't like you, would she still sleep with you?"
Xiao Qi was taken aback.
Moments later, with an aggrieved expression, he said, "President Lu, that's a tough question for me. I don't even have a girlfriend yet."
Lu Lingxiao scoffed at him before rising from his seat.
Puzzled, Xiao Qi asked, "President Lu, you still have a meeting to attend. Where are you heading to now?"
