Dr. Tan's casual remark struck like a bolt from the blue.
Pregnant? Ye Xi?
Seeing Song Musen's complexion suddenly worsen, Dr. Tan couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong with you?"
Song Musen came to his senses, managing to mask the turmoil inside, feeling as though his soul had been extracted.
He shook his head, "No, nothing."
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, she wanted to keep it a secret. You know now, so don't go asking about it," Dr. Tan said.
Song Musen nodded numbly, "Okay."
From the examination room not far away, someone called Dr. Tan back.
Dr. Tan had no choice but to tell Song Musen, "If there's nothing else, I have to go now. When you have time, bring your sister, and we'll have a meal together."
Dr. Tan had said a lot, but Song Musen hadn't heard a single word.
Dr. Tan also noticed that something was off with Song Musen's expression.
She wanted to ask more, but then she was called from behind again.
So, she had to go first.
