The maidservant shook her head, and the tall maidservant's face grew dark as she stepped forward and surveyed the room without finding anything out of the ordinary. It was Lingling, the other maidservant, who noticed two of the oil lamps had been extinguished and let out a startled cry,
"Young Master!"
The tall maidservant waved her hand and said,
"Don't panic, only two have gone out, there are still two..."
No sooner had she finished speaking than a gust of cold wind surged up beside her,
"Whoosh..."
The third oil lamp went out!
"Ah..."
