Gu Shi Yi called out again,
"Yanyan, are you there?"
There was still no response from inside…
Gu Shi Yi thought for a moment, turned around, and muttered to herself,
"It seems that Yanyan isn't here, I should go look elsewhere!"
As she lifted her foot to leave, a gust of ghostly wind suddenly whipped up from within the cave,
"Whoosh…"
Something flew out of the cave at an incredible speed, aiming directly for Gu Shi Yi's back. Gu Shi Yi, however, was well-prepared. Upon hearing the wind behind her, she plunged forward, rolling into the bushes below. Her pursuer missed, passing dangerously close over her head, the cold wind scraping painfully against the back of her skull.
Gu Shi Yi, clutching her head, rolled into the brush, and then, lying there, looked up to see a human-like creature in mid-air, flapping the membranous wings under its arms, circling over her head…
Eh! An acquaintance!
Gu Shi Yi was stunned, then quickly recognized it. Wasn't that the Lady Boy?
