Gu Shi Yi exclaimed and fell to the ground. The surface was smooth and warm, and it was also made of jade. When she looked back, she was inside the wall, yet the Jade Wall behind her was as hard as before.
"Shiyi, how are you?"
Gu Shi Yi got up and dusted her bottom off,
"I'm fine, what about you?"
The Red Fox fell to the ground with her but quickly got up, shaking its red fur,
"I'm fine!"
Gu Shi Yi felt for the Demon-Subduing Pestle at her waist and found it still there, which gave her some relief. It was only then that she had the chance to look ahead. There was a dried-up riverbed in front of her, but something at the end of it seemed to be glowing, illuminating the surroundings in the distance.
This was another huge cavern, still bitterly cold, and filled with grey and white stones. The only difference was the glowing object in the distance. Gu Shi Yi looked back at the Jade Wall; it was hard to the touch and immovable. It seemed there was no going back!
