Su Chaoxi's inexplicably became tense.
It was only upon arrival at Xie Group that she found out Xie Tianyin hadn't come to work today.
Su Chaoxi found it a bit strange, since Xie Tianyin had come to the company early in the morning and he was never someone to skip work. Logically, having just gotten his hands on such a big project, he should have been diligently working overtime, guarding his position at the company.
But when the receptionist made several calls, they discovered Xie Tianyin wasn't in his office.
Then, with a face full of apologies, the receptionist looked at Su Chaoxi and said, "Sorry, our Vice President Xie really isn't here. Why don't you give him a call?"
Su Chaoxi could only silently nod her head.
She quickly walked out with her daughter to a nearby coffee shop.
The decor of the coffee shop was luxurious, and it had good privacy.
