Su Wan's heartstrings were gently plucked, leaving her heart soft and sweet. She looked down at the freshly baked custard bun in her hand, still steaming, and changed direction, extending it to Gu Nanzhou's lips.
"Gu Nanzhou," Su Wan scooted closer to her husband, gazing at him with soft eyes, "You should eat too."
Gu Nanzhou wanted to smile, his gaze was tender, and so was his voice as he spoke gently, "I'm not hungry."
Seeing that she couldn't persuade him, Su Wan didn't say anything more and sat down beside him to eat her breakfast in earnest.
After eating, Su Wan first nested in the soft chair scrolling through Weibo for a while, then ran to the next room to find Ruan Qiao, while Gu Nanzhou sat on the sofa reviewing documents.
The sunshine outside was just right, spilling into the room in large swathes through the window, filling it with clear daylight.
