Upon receiving the call, Chen Xin and company hurriedly arrived at the Beijing Hotel.
In the private room on the fourth floor, Bai Shu yawned, "Why the sudden rush to come here for dinner?"
"Which girl's bed did you crawl out of, it's so late and you're still not awake." Chen Xin teased with a laugh.
"Mind your own business. If it weren't for my brother setting this up, I wouldn't have come." What's so good about this meal, it's interrupting his sleep.
Chen Xin gave him a kick, "As if you have that much clout."
"No joke, where's my brother?" Everyone was there, but Qin Jijing was nowhere to be seen.
Bai Shu was sleepy, and his tone was lackadaisical, lacking any energy.
"He should be arriving soon," Chen Xin checked the time, "Abei, go out and have a look."
Here, Bai Shu was the youngest, but seeing him like this, expecting him to go out was futile; better to ask someone else.
Zhou Jinbei was quick to act, answering affirmatively before heading out the door.
