"Save me," Ji Wushuang cried as she saw the police, tears streaming down incessantly.
She tried to get up, sobbing uncontrollably, then remembered she was wearing nothing at all and quickly shrank back.
Seeing this, an officer immediately removed his coat, went forward to cover her, and took photographs to preserve evidence. Ji Wushuang's eyes were lifeless, but she stared blankly at Ji Shunuan.
Her lips moved as if she wanted to say something but couldn't utter a word.
"Now that we've found her, we should be going," said Ji Shunuan to the police.
The officer extended a hand and, shaking hers, said, "Thankfully you called us, or there might have been a casualty. We're very grateful."
"You're welcome, we just happened to pass by," Ji Shunuan whispered.
As she walked out with An Linlin, passing by Ji Wushuang, their eyes met. Ji Wushuang's lips quivered, but then her eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
"Let's go back," Ji Shunuan whispered.
