A shadow loomed from behind, and Ji Shunuan was shocked, turning to look.
"Who?" she demanded sharply.
A punch went straight out, but the figure was knocked down in a moment.
He had a lighter in his hand, which he lit and tossed, the lighter flung onto a nearby shelf, igniting a fierce blaze.
Ji Shunuan couldn't make out the attacker's face, only hearing a muffled grunt as he got up and ran out.
"Sister Chen, don't chase after him," Ji Shunuan saw Shen Chen wanting to follow.
She immediately grabbed Shen Chen's arm and pulled her back.
"We don't know if there's someone outside for a rendezvous, and it might be dangerous for you to chase him alone. We need to put out the fire first," Ji Shunuan whispered.
The surroundings were cold but very dry.
Once ignited, the materials burned exceptionally fast.
Her gaze swept the room, spotting the file box from 23 years ago, and she rushed forward.
"Nuannuan, be careful," Shen Chen called out as she saw her charge ahead.
