Returning to the room, she pushed the door open and stopped in the doorway.
She stared at Ye Sihan sitting on the sofa in the outer hall, holding a piece of paper.
It was the divorce agreement Xing Ling had written.
She had already signed her name.
"Were you planning on leaving right away?" Ye Sihan lifted his head, and his deep, bottomless eyes betrayed no emotion.
Yet the oppressive atmosphere in the room was so heavy that it made it hard to breathe.
"Yes." Xing Ling said, "Whether you sign or not is your business, but I'm definitely leaving."
"You don't want the children either?"
"Although we're separating, the children can come to see me if they miss me," Xing Ling resolved.
She was too tired, truly not wanting to entangle with Ye Sihan anymore.
"What about me?" Ye Sihan looked at her, his dark eyes slightly red.
"Have I ever wronged you?" Xing Ling countered.
Ye Sihan didn't speak.
