"Xiaojiu, you're awake," Veya said, seated opposite the staircase. Lifting her gaze to see Li Mochan coming downstairs, a gentle smile spread across her lips.
"Come and take a look at this."
When Karina heard Ye Jiuliang's name, the smile on her face vanished instantaneously. The force with which she held the scissors wasn't controlled, and she ended up damaging the rose's stem.
Walking over to Veya, Ye Jiuliang raised an eyebrow, "What's this?"
"We just picked some flowers from the garden and are arranging them. Do you want to give it a try?" Veya offered warmly.
Arranging flowers?
Ye Jiuliang's lips curved up into a smirk.
She felt picking flowers suited her better.
"No, I'll just watch you guys do it. I don't know how," she said frankly, "I might ruin these flowers."
"Heh."
A snort of derision sounded beside them.
Karina glanced at her disdainfully, "At least you're aware of your limits."
A good-for-nothing scoundrel.
The atmosphere suddenly became a tad awkward.
