Captain Roland Thornblade POV
Bang!!
As I heard the shot I immediately rushed towards the source of the sound, feeling baffled as to how the petty thief could get his hand on a handgun because guns are restricted and controlled they are also very difficult to get , the guns we enforcers use is a Valkyrie M-27 and that was the sound of a Viper_X-9.
I could feel my heart pounding as boot hit the hard floor and my heart pounding with excitement
When I got there I only saw a greyhound laid in it own puddle of blood an the the if no where to be found, I gathered my self together as I could also hear the footstep of my squad members moving closer.
Malik POV
I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as if it wants to burst out my chest and I know this isn't over and the enforcers were still on my tail.
I could here their foot steps where I killed that hound since I haven't gone far
As I jumped out of a corner I encountered two enforcers with two rifles in their hands we all started at each other in shock for some second before we all reacted
I pulled out my trusty hand gun and delivered tell desicive shots to their vitals
but I didn't go unscathed as I also received two bullets in my stomach luckily missing my vitals
I knew I should have being more careful and I shouldn't have being arrogant cause I can still die but I got careless not double checking enough
My muscle fibers work extra time slowly pushing out the bullet, I gritted my teeth in pain trying not to scream
I could here the foot steps getting closer due to the gun shot I dragged my injured self and started navigating my way through the sewer system
I know I have a shadow armor but it still can't protect me completely from bullets especially from a rifle and I would only confront them if the only option available
As I moved forward I encountered some of the enforcers and I took them out learning from my mistakes not to use the gun.
