Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - Tension of Relationship

Aruna returned to her usual routine, even though currently something was missing in Aruna's life. He went back to school

Aruna intended to meet Bima in the library and try to repair the relationship between the two of them which had previously been strained, but when Aruna arrived at the library room, Aruna saw Bima in his favorite seat, sitting together with Anton and Budi. The three of them were seen discussing the book that Bima was reading.

Aruna began to move away from Bima and became increasingly convinced that their relationship would be very difficult to unite.

Aruna left the library without Bima knowing. Aruna returned to her class as if she didn't remember anything about Bima. She tried to erase the memories that she had shared with Bima.

Aruna tries to return to her previous self before Bima appeared in her life, namely being a cheerful and active girl in her class.

Aruna tried to erase Bima from her memory by getting back together because as long as she knew Bima, she was almost never around her close friends in class, including Rara and Dimas who were her close friends in class.

Aruna approached the two of them, full of doubts covering her, "Hi!!" Aruna said in a whispered tone, "Can I join you two?"

Rara and Dimas were surprised by Aruna's sudden presence in front of them.

"What are you doing here Aru..." Rara's words suddenly stopped after seeing Dimas gaze which seemed to tell her to stop.

Dimas took over the conversation and with his sweet smile as the most handsome man in the class welcomed Aruna warmly.

"Okay! You can join the two of us." Dimas answered while inviting Aruna to sit in the chair next to him. "Come here, sit."

Aruna sat in the chair right next to Dimas. At first Aruna felt awkward chatting with the two of them. It cannot be denied, since getting to know Bima better, he has not interacted with Rara and Dimas at all and only spends most of his time alone with Bima in the library. However, Dimas, with his royal attitude towards his friend, opened the conversation, creating a very awkward atmosphere. "How about after school, we go to the cinema as usual." Aruna slowly answered Dimas' invitation, "Yes, I agree, what about Rara, will you come too?" Aruna knows that Rara and Dimas' relationship is more than just friends, she doesn't want to ruin her friendship with Rara just because of romance. So Aruna chose to ask him directly. "Hmm…Yes, of course I will come." Rara answered in a slightly curt voice. Aruna didn't really care about Rara's attitude towards her. He understood why he acted that way. After all, he had been friends and known her for a long time. When Aruna was still in junior high school, she was just a quiet and introverted girl. This cannot be separated from his family status, which comes from a poor family, many children his age often bully him and say bad things about his family. However, since meeting and becoming friends with Rara and Dimas, he has been able to express himself. The school bell rang, signaling the start of the first lesson. Aruna hurriedly changed her clothes to prepare the books that would be prepared for the first subject, namely history. Aruna sometimes thinks, if only the history she was studying was Korean cultural history, she would be very enthusiastic. He is not the type of person who is picky about what books he will study. However, there are several categories of books that he thinks are very special, especially those related to his favorite country, namely Korea. Finally, the teacher who taught history subjects entered the class, where history subjects were taught by a teacher named teacher Handoko. Mr. Handoko put the books and stationery he brought from the teacher's room to teach on his desk which was right near the blackboard area. "Okay, everyone immediately take out your history textbooks." Mr. Handoko said firmly. "This time I will share question material for all of you to study for the final exam next week."

"I hope you all can pass the exam with perfect scores." Meanwhile Mr. Handoko glanced at one of the children sitting in the back corner, "I don't want last month's incident to happen again, where there was one of the students in this class who got the lowest test score among the other classes. " Aruna was very sure that what Mr Handoko meant was Dani. Last month this class received the title of worst class in school. This makes most teachers confused and implement a periodic exam system every week just for this class. Even though the cause is only because one person is considered the worst student in the class. Actually, Dani was also aware of the person Mr. Handoko was talking about, but he tried to ignore it and turned his gaze out the window. Dani has always been a problem child, not because he was one of the students who often caused trouble in class, but for some reason, his grades in many of the subject exams he took were below average. Aruna doesn't want to get too involved with a child like Dani, she knows that many students don't like Dani. He seems more introverted than other students. In fact, Aruna often saw him being bullied by being beaten by a group who often called themselves the captain's gang. The gang is led by a very problematic child in class named Ikhsan. Even though he had problems, his test scores were still above average and outperformed Dani. I don't know what he did with his test scores, but Aruna is very sure that Ikhsan's test results were manipulated and not purely his. He could have taken cheats from other students to get rid of the medicine, after all, his position as gang leader made him very feared by most of the students in the class. Mr. Handoko immediately took out the marker in his pocket and started writing the exam question material for next week. Aruna was also noble in taking notes of whatever Mr. Handoko wrote on the blackboard enthusiastically.

Suddenly the school bell rang, indicating that break time had begun. Aruna was confused about what to do during break time, because usually during break time she was always alone with Bima in the library. This time, in the midst of the strained relationship between the two of them, Aruna tried to change her daily life at school. Aruna intended to go to the canteen, intending to buy food because her body felt very hungry after receiving the tiring lessons. However, when Aruna walked towards the front door, she was surprised by the presence of Dani who came to surprise her from behind the opposite door. At first glance, she saw Dani who seemed to be looking at her with a cold gaze, but Aruna tried to ignore it and continued walking out of the classroom. In the canteen, Aruna met a food seller who became her regular customer before getting to know Bima. He really intends not to buy food at the place he and Bima usually buy, this is not without reason, he aims to erase his past memories of being with Bima so he can move on from Bima. "Please make a bowl of instant noodles, ma'am." Aruna said as she took out money from her wallet, "Here ma'am, the money." "Thank you, Miss..." answered the food seller while accepting the money. "Sit down, I'll make noodles." Aruna sat on a chair in the cafeteria waiting for the noodles she ordered to arrive. Without realizing it, Bima and his two friends, Anton and Budi, had also come to the canteen to buy food. Aruna immediately averted her gaze from Bima as if she didn't know. He also tried to lower his head so that Bima wouldn't know where he was. However, Anton, who was standing next to Bima, apparently noticed the presence of Arun who was sitting on a canteen chair. Anton immediately approached her and patted Aruna's shoulder. "What are you doing here?" Anton asked, confused when he saw Aruna's strange behavior "Eh..." Aruna was shocked when she realized that Anton had noticed her presence. "Of course I bought food at the canteen, what else can I do?" Aruna answered curtly.

Anton's attitude this time was a little different towards Aruna. He seemed calmer and less angry than the previous first meeting. "Oh... I see, good luck." He immediately turned around and walked away from Aruna towards where Bima was. His words seemed to indicate that he had calmed down a bit now. But even so, Aruna still didn't want to get too close to the two of them, maybe this was a trick to get herself caught up in their evil plans. I don't know what they were thinking, but right now Aruna wanted to forget everything first. After all, he had not fully recovered from his father's death. A few minutes after Anton left Aruna, a food seller came walking towards him carrying a bowl of instant noodles and a glass of drinking water on a tray.

Aruna was really looking forward to it, especially since she was very hungry. "Here's the food, Miss." Said the food seller while placing a bowl and a glass of drinking water on Aruna's table.

"Thank you." Aruna answered with a faint smile on her face. "Then, me, stay for now, okay?" The food seller said very kindly.

"Yes, thank you again." Aruna answered while preparing to eat the instant noodles she bought from the lady selling food in the canteen.

Aruna ate her food with gusto, especially today she was very hungry because of the endless tasks given by Mr. Handoko. He finished all the noodles in his bowl until there was nothing left. After eating, Aruna intended to relax in a chair while waiting for the school bell to ring. It didn't take long for the bell to ring, indicating that it was time for lessons to start again. Aruna rushed back to class, she didn't see Bima and his friends around. Aruna thought that Bima and his friends had entered her class and she was quite calm because she no longer needed to hide herself like before. However, Aruna was suspicious of Anton, why didn't he tell Bima that he was in the same canteen. Moreover, he had discovered it before. Despite everything that happened just now, Aruna could finally breathe because she could go to class without caring about anything else.
