Kelvin wasn't worried of him going to farm as he believes he won't remain there forever, At farm he work hard with his uncle in planting of crops,cutting of trees and harvesting crop.
He met other labourers at the farm that are employed by his uncle to assist them when the work is much,the labourers pretend to start the work in the presence of uncle and leave the rest for kelvin when the uncle has gone.
"I thought my uncle said we will work together"said kelvin,immediately he said this one of them slap him and said
"Finish up this work and stop complaining " as they threatened to beat him if report what they did to his uncle.
When kelvin got to the house he narrated everything that the labourers did to him,His uncle consoles him and went to sleep.
The next day the labourers came to demand for their money his uncle told them what they did to kelvin at the farm, so he gave half the money they agreed initially,they plead but their pleas fall on deaf ears.
