A dark alley a girl standing underneath a flashing lamp post, then a drop of tears fell from her face at the exact moment rain started pouring.
δάκρυα narrating: (pronounced Dákrya) like Jamie Anderson once said that grief, I've learned is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All the unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat and in the hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.
(A woman walking with a basket at her side and two old couples greeted her at the door)
δάκρυα narrating: The woman was known as χαρούμενο τέλος (pronounced charoúmeno télos) a Greek word which means happy ending which was far from how her ending turned out to be. She was my mother a woman filled with positivity and happiness different from the world, I never got the chance to see this side of her (the happiness side), she fell in love with a man that her elders didn't approve of, which cause pain, tears and grief in the house hold of χάος (pronounced Cháos)a Greek word which means chaos in this family they were far from normal they lived in their own world which baffled the society, when χαρούμενο τέλος fell in love with a mere man the visual of her future was altered which was a devastating revelation to the elders of χάος family, But her parent that went through the alteration of their future supported her.
δάκρυα narrating: my grand mother φόβος a Greek word meaning fear (pronounced Fóvos), when her mother was pregnant for her calamities befell the earth changing her future, she was feared by mere men and women and by her clan, but she stood and faced life with the man she loved πόνος (pronounced Pónos) meaning pain who went through the same alteration in his clan and they conquered, they were considered two lost souls but they changed that, and the gods of our land gave them their reward a happy ending which was my mother. They gave their consent for the marriage and the elders agreed reluctantly. Like the saying goes a person story doesn't suddenly end when something good happens, Well the story begins from here, shall we;
(χαρούμενο τέλος and Sebastian in there early 20s)
χαρούμενο τέλος: am home (as she walked into the garden)
Sebastian: you're back (as he ran and picked her up and gave her a peck on the lip with a big hugged her)
Sebastian: how was the trip
χαρούμενο τέλος: it was fine
Sebastian: your parent
χαρούμενο τέλος: there doing okay but...….
Sebastian: but... (As he placed her down and released his grasp and walked slightly away from her)
χαρούμενο τέλος: They want to meet you
Sebastian: (exhaled)
χαρούμενο τέλος: seb common, please
(Sebastian hesitating as he sat down)
χαρούμενο τέλος: common for me (as she toyed with his hand like a child)
Sebastian: char... (As he chuckled)(char was a nick name he gave her, it was the short form of her name)
χαρούμενο τέλος: Is that a yes (as she bent down to get a closer look at his face as he resisted both laughing)
Sebastian: fine
χαρούμενο τέλος: yayyy
Sebastian: when do we leave? (As she made her way inside the house)
χαρούμενο τέλος: to night
Sebastian: what
χαρούμενο τέλος: (she pooped her head through the door) my parent already called a car to pick us up and the ticket are ready
(As she smiled with her whole face)
δάκρυα narrating: The visit from her parent influenced their future, the visit was different from anything he imagined he wasn't only visiting her parent but her whole extend family so he taught. The elders never fully accepted him which laid heavy on his shoulder. After a while sχαρούμενο τέλος became pregnant a joy in every family but not in the χάος family, the baby in her womb was a creature that need to be feared and erased from the surface of the earth, my mother rebuked the revelation which is denouncing your believe, she was cast aside and uprooted from the clan, never to be heard of and seen again.
The day of my birth drew nearer, the outcome of my mothers decision was unclear to her but she stood for the child in her womb. Days before my birth the elders reviled the revelation to the clan in hope they could stop this calamity from coming forth, it was impossible for the elders to locate sχαρούμενο τέλος alone because she went into hiding. In the revelation the elders saw ALGEA the god of tears held a little child close to their heart as tears rolled down there faces, this revelation brought fear to the clan because not only were they the god of tears but of pain, suffering, grief, sorrow and distress, they were related to oizys the milder spirit of misery, sadness, penthos and the god of mourning and lamentament, after the revelation was told to the clan they decided to search and eliminate the seed of grief, the search began my grandparent tried to convince the clan that this situation can turn out like there's, but people responded that they were lucky and they don't put their faith in theory's and speculation but in the revelation and believe of the land . My mother always said that Marie curie once said; nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood, that now is the time to understand more so that we may fearless but her logic was never viewed by the world it was mocked.
δάκρυα narrating: Days later sχαρούμενο τέλος was in labor as she screamed in pain, her husband waited outside the house which she laid, the closer the baby was from been birthed the weather changed drastically, the cloud darkened and thunder roared like a beast in the night and lightning brightened the sky for time to time, with a smile on Sebastian face awaiting the birth of his beloved daughter but worries lingering in his heart on the outcome of sχαρούμενο τέλος decision. During the birth process the clan elders emerged from the darkness.
Sebastian: good evening (as he prostrated)
The elder (shouted): what are you doing, that baby shall not be brought into thy world.
(With confusion all over Sebastian face as the elders recited some incantation, then a shock wave was felt a force that pushed everybody backward as they landed on the floor, as everyone stood up and regained their stamina, the house were sχαρούμενο τέλος laid were surrounded by droplet of tears which formed a ring shape around the house, then the tears started to ascend into the sky as well as a baby, the tears then enclosed the baby).
Sebastian: what is going on?
As the elders replied: what we feared the most.
δάκρυα narrating: each member of the χάος clan are named by the gods and goddess of our land that claim us, names are not bestowed to us by our parent like the tradition of the mere mortals, our names has meaning, and defines our destiny, our place in this world of mystery, to guide us to find our way around life.
(the tear bubble exploded and a mark appeared on the baby body a mark that was mobile, the child dropped down and was caught by a leave instantly a tear rolled down her face to the very land which they stood on, the land dried up and turned black as magma protruded all life form were destroyed by a drop of her tears except the very leave were she laid)
Elders: the destruction has begone, the end is near (as they retreated back into the darkness)
(Sebastian stood there with fear and uncertainty in his eyes)
δάκρυα narrating: he was unclear of the present and feared the future. Back at the clan a mark appeared, a child holding a tear with a mark (the child was positioned like a child in the womb and the mark was similar to the one on the child) a revelation was given that my name will be;
(At the moment sχαρούμενο τέλος eyes opened as tear rolled down the side of her face)
Then a voice;
Voice: δάκρυα (in a calm loud voice)
δάκρυα narrating: My name is δάκρυα a Greek word meaning tears, which is something I have completely forgotten how to do.
δάκρυα narrating: Fear, worry and doubt lingered in the heart of men that a disaster has been born. (Baby δάκρυα smiled) life was in haze, it was unclear but one thing was certain my story was just beginning and that to with a smile and a teardrop.
