"Ugh, my head! Did I die?" Felix groaned, cradling his throbbing skull as if it had been struck by a sledgehammer. Dizziness washed over him like a heavy fog.
"System! System! Are you there?" he called out, his voice echoing in the silence.
"Stop shouting, Host," came the system's voice, slightly annoyed.
"Am I dead?" Felix asked, his face a mask of confusion and fatigue.
[ Why are you asking such a stupid question? I'm not the one living here! ] The system replied with an exasperated tone.
Felix felt his lips twitch into an embarrassed grin as he scratched the back of his head. "Hehehe… Just kidding! I know I'm not dead; I just wanted to talk."
Suddenly, panic surged through him. "Trinity!"** His eyes flew open wide as he frantically scanned the area.
Relief flooded over him when he spotted Trinity Gwendolyn Brixton Zephyr and Nixie lying on the groundunconscious but furrowed brows suggesting they were experiencing some kind of pain.
