"In the beginning, the young girl naively thought she had found a companion to share her adventures with, while the boy believed he had met the love of his life," Leslie began.
"They explored mountains and rivers together, ventured through the world, and grew fond of one another.
"But when the girl learned that her companion was a 'monster' who relied on blood and souls to grow stronger, all her affection for him turned into terror.
"She wanted to leave him. But the boy, consumed by a pathological obsession, couldn't bear to let her go and begged her to stay.
"The more he pleaded, the more determined she became to escape. After multiple rejections, she finally fled.
