After a few minutes of driving, David arrived at a train station, the sound of trains humming in the distance. He pulled into the parking lot and found a spot near the entrance, the tires crunching on the gravel.
Grabbing his wallet from the dashboard, he got out of the car and stretched his arms, feeling the warm sun on his skin.
As he walked towards the parking meter, he approached a passerby, a woman with a suitcase hurrying to catch her train.
"Excuse me," he asked, "do I need to pay for parking here?" The woman slowed down, looking up from her watch.
"Yes, sir," she replied. "It's $2 per hour. You can pay with cash or card at the meter." David nodded, noticing the meter's digital display flickering in the sunlight.
David nodded and inserted his credit card into the machine, the card reader beeping as he followed the prompts to pay for twenty-four hours of parking.
