"…what did you just say to me?"
A tense hush falls over the entire hall as Hector's rage-filled voice pierces the air. I look around and sure enough, all eyes are already fixed on us.
Hector covers the short distance between us and gets in Hunter's face. Hunter, being the stubborn man that he is, refuses to back down.
"I do not remember calling your name, big guy. There's absolutely no need for you to get upset over nothing."
Hector nods. "Of course you didn't dare to call my name… because you're a coward. Only cowards take the easy way out."
I can sense when the entire scenario is about to escalate. Even though I'm an avid lover of drama, I don't like being involved in it.
I pull Hunter by the arm and he looks down at me immediately.
"It's okay." I whisper softly. "Just ignore him, please."
