Jin Mo's POV:
"It's a soul attack!" - we quickly gathered closer.
"Here! Take it and pin it to your chests! It is enchanted to protect the soul from being damaged!" - Senior Iris said as he distributed the badge to us.
"Camia!" - he shouted and we instantly glowed a silver light. It must be the activation chant.
"Let's Go!" - Senior Sika led us outside acting as our frontliner.
"Based on the sound it must have come from the 3rd floor, leisure room where the vase is situated!" - the butler said and we instantly went up the stairs.
After arriving on the 3rd floor, we didn't need further directions as the door burst open on itself carrying with it a heavy aura of yin energy. The surroundings fogged up an evil purple color and amidst the fog, we can hear eerie sounds of mumbles and screeches. Most of us stood rooted in the spot. Senior Sika stood in front of us in a protective stance.
"T-there are evil spirits in front! Numerous of them!" - I warned them.
A shadow flashed in front of Senior Sika.
"W-watch out Senior! In front!" - I shouted to inform him but it was too late. The shadow punched Senior Sika and all he could do was to block his two arms in front of him. The blow was strong because we felt the force ripple through the air but Senior managed to deflect it.
"It's a 1st grade evil spirit!" - Senior Sika said
I'm curious about this new information but this is not the time to ask!
"Senior! Another is coming this way!"
"Thanks for the heads up kid!" - Senior Sika said as he performed a set of what seemed to be slow movements but was extremely fast in retrospect.
His muscles bulged further and his body seemed bigger than before! He punched forward and the ripple of force managed to push back the incoming spirit! Senior Sika is very cool!
