Jin's POV
My first impression of the school so far:
Full to the brim... of ghosts
Commonly, I only see 2-3 ghosts in every place. So why? Why is this place so full of ghosts? I can somewhat understand if a hospital or a cemetery has many ghosts. Hai, another question left unanswered for me, the lack of answers are starting to feel suffocating.
Signboard: New students, please proceed to the auditorium for the entrance ceremony. See attachment for directions.
I quickly proceeded to the auditorium amidst the buzzing of both humans and ghosts alike.
While walking, I let my mind wander a bit...
In my 15 years of existence, I have discovered many things about my ability. First, I discovered the difference between human and ghosts. Ghosts are capable of flying in the air and passing through solid materials, whereas humans obviously can't. Second, Ghosts are more transparent and their feet are not visible at all. Third, Ghosts linger in places which they are most attached.
Noticing the huge signboard, that says: We welcome you to AB High! This is probably the auditorium.
The whole place is packed by students.
"Hey, is it that time of the year again?"
"Yeah, man this really takes me back!"
"Shuddap, you didn't even finish one year before dying"
"Y-you! In that short span of years, I had many memories!"
As you can guess it, those are ghosts conversing with each others.
"Please line up based on your student number! Hurry up the program is about to start!"
That was a human this time. I quickly found my line, since the first number of my SN is 6, I went to the sixth line.
The auditorium is still buzzing as a person stood in the stage.
"Yosh! Welcome to AB High First Years! I am the 17th Principal of AB High, John Paul. You can address me as Mr. Paul in your own discretion. I'm truly glad that you chose our school, and we, and the faculty would make sure that you will acquire skills and knowledge that can aid you in the future. High School is an important building block to your future so you should up your game! Do your best! And we will be there together with you in your high school days. Wishing you a happy stay here, with us!"
"I formally open the school year 202x-202x!"
After all that fuss, the students we're given the free reign to tour the whole school.
Jin finally proceeded to his main goal for entering the school... The Supernatural Activity Club.
