It is a quiet night in the empty park, where a solitary figure emerges from the shadows. Black hair and black eyes, and overweight. Max, a 30-year-old man with a slightly stout demeanor, sits on a weathered park bench with a bottle of beer cradled in his left hand. The dim moonlight reveals a mix of frustration and sadness etched onto his features, hinting at a storm of emotions brewing within him.
Â
Max, hailing from the United States, is no stranger to the struggles that life can present. Coming from a modest middle-class background, he carries a burden that seems to weigh heavy on his shoulders this night. His gaze was fixed somewhere in the distance, perhaps lost in thoughts of the past or worries about the future. As the cool night air envelops him, one can't help but wonder about the untold stories and the hidden pain that Max may be harboring within.
Â
He was feeling down, wondering why he was so unlucky. His oldest brother had a job, a wife, and two kids, while he had no job. Thankfully, his parents left him a two-story house that he could rent out for some extra income. He was relieved that his older brother didn't ask for their parents' inheritance; otherwise, he wouldn't know what to do. He was still a virgin and had never even held a girl's hand at his age. He couldn't understand why he was still alive. He felt like giving up.
Â
When he is immersed in thought, his phone rings. ring-ring-ring
Â
He takes out his mobile from his pocket and sees that his older brother is calling. He picks up the call and says, "Hello, brother, how are you?" His older brother says, "Well, I want the inheritance left behind by our parents." What? What is the brother saying? He doesn't understand what his brother is saying. There is sweat coming from his face. ''Older brother, you already know that I don't have a job and barely make a living by renting the house, and our parents' only house is in their inheritance.'' His older brother cuts him off and says, "I already know that, Max, and it's my wife's demand that I get half of the inheritance. Tomorrow, I will come to your house, and we will discuss in detail." "Brother, bro—" After saying that, his older brother cuts the call.
Â
Max felt a mix of confusion and fear as he heard his older brother's sudden demand for their parents' inheritance. With his limited income from renting the house, Max couldn't understand why his brother, who knew of his financial struggles, would make such a request. The beads of sweat on his face reflected both the discomfort and anxiety that overwhelmed him. As his brother abruptly ended the call, leaving Max with unanswered questions, he braced himself for the upcoming discussion. Tomorrow's meeting with his older brother was now clouded with uncertainty and apprehension.
Â
Her discomfort and fear gradually disappeared, to be replaced by rage.
Â
"FUCK IT! Max tossed the beer bottle in his left hand to the ground, smashing it, and said, ''You truly think I don't know how greedy you are, and you're using your wife's name as an excuse.''
Â
Max's decision to walk home in rage while drinking had disastrous results. In his intoxicated state, he failed to notice the intersection lights, resulting in a deadly error. Without realizing it, he crossed the road into the path of an incoming truck. The truck was moving at a fast rate of speed and was unable to respond soon enough to avoid the collision.Â
Â
Bum-bum
Â
''Darn it! What's the worst that could happen to me?'' Their tears are coming from Max's eyes. In front of death, in a split second, Max sees her whole unlucky life.
Â
—Scene Change
Â
Max awakens in the vast universe of white, only to find himself in the unknown. With black hair, dark eyes, and a portly stature, he looks at a fascinating black orb with a vivid crimson glow. As he navigates this weird landscape, a wave of perplexity and dread washes over him, causing him to wonder his place in this perplexing situation. Is he genuinely on the brink of the afterlife, or is this disturbing image a fiction of his neurological imagination?
Â
''Who are you?'' Max spoke to the black orb in fear and hesitantly.
Â
The orb says, 'I'm the Evil Lust God.''
Â
It seems that God has seen my struggling life, and now I am dead. This God definitely wants to give me a good next life.
Â
Max slaps herself and is like, ''Orb is claiming to be this evil lust God. It's saying it's evil itself. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any good plans.''
Â
Max asked, ''Did you bring me here?''
Â
Orb replied, ''Yes.''
Â
Max asked, ''But why have you brought me here?''
Â
Orb replied, ''To make you my successor.''
Â
Max asked, ''Could you make anyone your successor?'' He is really trembling because he was chosen to become the evil god's successor.
Â
Orb replied, ''I already chose 999 successors.''
Â
Max inquired, ''If you already have my successor, why are you selecting me?'' Max pondered, Why does he choose me when he already has many successors? He clearly has evil intentions for me.
Â
Orb replied, ''Because my 999 successors have already died. That's why I'm choosing you.''
Â
''What?'' For some time, Max didn't say anything. He doesn't understand what he heard.
Â
Max said to Orb in anger, ''Do you really think, after hearing that, I agree to become your successor? Let me get out of this place.''
Â
''Whether you believe it or not, you will be made my successor. Also, I know your true nature. You and I both have an evil nature, different from my previous 999 successors.''
Â
Orb says and laughs, ''Kekeke''.
Â
Max is shocked because no one really knows about his personality.
Â
Orb keeps laughing, and then Max's eyes start shining brightly before slowly closing them.
